Dengan adanya aktuaris, perusahaan dapat mengantisipasi dan memastikan dana tersedia jika terjadi klaim. “Apalagi dengan diberlakukannya PSAK 117, yang menunjukkan setiap perusahaan harus memiliki pembentukan cadangan teknis yang kuat. Jadi, peran aktuaris sangat-sangat penting,” tambahnya.

​IAS ke-8 di Novotel Bangka ini menjadi ajang berkumpulnya para aktuaris dari seluruh Indonesia. Ogi Prastomiyono mengungkapkan bahwa acara ini dihadiri oleh 400 peserta, dengan 300 peserta hadir secara fisik dan 100 peserta lainnya bergabung secara daring.
