KARIMUN,PERKARANEWS – PT Timah kembali menghadirkan rumah layak huni bagi masyarakat di Kabupaten Karimun, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Bersama Kodim 0317/TBK, PT Timah membantu mewujudkan impian Nasir untuk memiliki tempat tinggal yang aman dan nyaman.
Nasir yang merupakan warga Desa Gemuruh, Bukit Senang, Kecamatan Kundur mengaku akhirnya bisa tidur dengan tenang dan nyaman setelah rumahnya direnovasi oleh PT Timah bersama Kodim 0317/TBK.
Dirinya juga menyampaikan rasa terima kasihnya atas kepedulian perusahaan dan TNI yang telah hadir membantu keluarganya. Ditengah kondisi ekonomi yang pas-pasan membuat dirinya sulit untuk bisa memperbaiki rumahnya.
“Saya mengucapkan banyak-banyak terima kasih kepada PT Timah yang bekerja sama dengan Kodim 0317/TBK telah merenovasi rumah saya, saya bisa tidur dengan tenang dan nyaman, saya mengucapkan terima kasih,” ujarnya.
Sementara itu, Komandan Kodim 0317/TBK, Letkol Inf Ida Bagus Putu Mudita, menyampaikan apresiasi atas peran aktif PT Timah dalam mendukung kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui program pembangunan rumah layak huni.
“Kami sangat mengapresiasi langkah nyata PT Timah yang tidak hanya fokus pada kegiatan usahanya, tetapi juga memiliki kepedulian tinggi terhadap masyarakat sekitar,” katanya.
Menurutnya, program pembangunan rumah layak huni ini sangat membantu warga yang membutuhkan tempat tinggal yang aman dan nyaman. Ini adalah contoh nyata bagaimana dunia usaha dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dan langsung dirasakan manfaatnya oleh masyarakat.
“Kami berharap, program sosial seperti ini dapat terus berlanjut dan bahkan diperluas jangkauannya. Tidak hanya di Desa Gemuruh, tetapi juga ke daerah-daerah lain di wilayah Kundur dan sekitarnya. Sinergi antara dunia usaha, aparat, dan masyarakat harus terus diperkuat, demi mewujudkan kehidupan sosial yang lebih baik dan berkelanjutan,” harapnya.
PT Timah secara berkelanjutan melaksanakan program rumah layak huni bagi masyarakat di wilayah operasional Perusahaan. Program ini diharapkan dapat mendukung peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat dan mendukung program Pemerintah untuk mengentaskan kemiskinan.
Pada tahun 2024 lalu, PT Timah telah membantu membangun 33 unit rumah layak huni bagi masyarakat di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung dan Provinsi Kepulauan Riau.(Yuko)
