Laporan keuangan yang telah diaudit dan diumumkan pada tanggal 8 April 2025 ini memperlihatkan betapa PT TIMAH Tbk berhasil memanfaatkan momentum kenaikan harga timah dunia sepanjang tahun 2024. Meskipun diwarnai dengan ketidakpastian ekonomi makro dan perkembangan pasokan yang terus mempengaruhi proyeksi pasar, perusahaan mampu mencatatkan pertumbuhan yang impresif.
Sepanjang tahun 2024, harga rata-rata logam timah di London Metal Exchange (LME) mencatatkan angka USD 30.177,45 per ton. Angka ini menunjukkan kenaikan yang cukup signifikan, yakni sebesar 16,3% dibandingkan dengan rata-rata harga pada tahun sebelumnya yang berada di level USD 25.959,04 per ton. Proyeksi harga timah dari Bloomberg yang berada di kisaran USD 28.000 hingga USD 31.000 per metrik ton juga terkonfirmasi oleh realitas pasar.
Lebih lanjut, data dari LME menunjukkan adanya penurunan persediaan timah di gudang mereka. Pada akhir Desember 2024, persediaan tercatat sebesar 4.800 ton, menurun drastis sebesar 35,6% dibandingkan dengan posisi awal tahun 2024 yang mencapai 7.450 ton. Penurunan ini mengindikasikan adanya permintaan yang cukup kuat terhadap logam timah di pasar global.
Di sisi lain, laporan dari CRU Tin Monitor edisi Februari 2025 memberikan gambaran mengenai dinamika produksi dan konsumsi timah global. Pertumbuhan produksi logam timah global pada tahun 2024 diperkirakan meningkat sebesar 1,4% secara tahunan (YoY) menjadi 371.880 ton. Sementara itu, konsumsi logam timah global justru mengalami penurunan sebesar 2,6% (YoY) menjadi 372.720 ton.
Meskipun terjadi penurunan tipis pada sisi konsumsi global, kinerja keuangan PT TIMAH Tbk yang cemerlang menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan mampu mengoptimalkan penjualan dan pengelolaan biaya produksi. Kenaikan harga timah dunia menjadi faktor pendorong utama peningkatan laba bersih perusahaan, memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap kinerja keseluruhan.
