Laga Perdana di Penyisihan Grup, Tenis Beregu Putra PON Babel Libas Sumatera Barat

PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Tim Tenis Lapangan Beregu Putra Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, berhasil mengungguli Provinsi Sumatera Barat, pada Babak Penyisihan Beregu Putra Pool C, Cabang Olahraga Tenis Lapangan di ajang Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XXI Aceh-Sumut 2024, dengan skor 3-0 Pertandingan ini berlangsung, di Lapangan Tenis Stadion Harapan Bangsa Banda Aceh, Minggu 8 September 2024.

Kemenangan Tim Beregu Putra Babel ini memang sudah diprediksi Pelatih Tenis Babel, Coach Suhardi.

“Kita memang sudah memperkirakan bisa menang atas Padang (Sumbar), dan alhamdulillah kita menang,” ujar Coach Suhardi.

Melawan Sumbar, Partai Tunggal ke-1, M Rahadian Nugraha dari Babel berhasil mengungguli Jefri dari Sumbar dengan skor 6-3 dan 6-3. Sementara di Partai Tunggal ke-2, Ega Manuputty dari Babel, menang atas Mazza dari Sumbar dengan skor 6-3, 6-7 dan 7-5.

Sementara di Partai ke-3, Pasangan Ganda Babel, M Zaky Mustafa dan M Rizky Nugraha, berhadapan dengan Jefri dan Yogi. Di Partai Ganda ini, Babel unggul atas Sumbar dengan skor 6-4 dan 6-3.

Dengan kemenangan atas Sumbar tersebut, Tim Tenis Beregu Putra Babel, akan bertemu dengan Tim Beregu Putra Jogjakarta, pada hari Rabu, 11 September 2024 pukul 09.00 WIB.

Coach Suhardi menyebutkan, Tim Tenis Putra Babel, menargetkan medali Perak dalam PON Aceh-Sumut ini.

“Tim yang kita turunkan ada 4 atlet, Ega Manuputty, M Rizky Nugraha, M Rahadian Hidayah, dan M Zaky Mustafa. Kita akan turun di Beregu, Perseorangan dan Ganda. Semoga target ini bisa tercapai,” harap Coach Suhardi.

Untuk diketahui, Cabor Tenis Lapangan pada PON di Papua, berhasil menyumbangkan medali Perunggu dari partai Perseorangan atas nama Ega Manuputty.

“Harapan ini tentu bisa meningkatkan prestasi dibanding PON sebelumnya,” imbuh Coach Suhadi.(Yuko)
