PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Bangka Belitung kembali mencatatkan prestasi gemilang di ajang Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) 2024 Aceh-Sumut.
Kali ini, giliran Atika Putriani yang sukses meraih medali emas di cabang olahraga pencak silat, membanggakan tanah kelahirannya dengan penampilan yang luar biasa!
Dalam pertandingan yang berlangsung di Gor Veteran, Medan, Sumatera Utara, pada Jumat, 13 September 2024, Atika tampil impresif dengan mengalahkan lawannya dari Jawa Barat, Rahmawati, melalui kemenangan TKO dengan sisa waktu 12 detik di babak ketiga.
Sejak babak kedua, Atika sudah unggul jauh, dan lawannya mengalami cedera akibat bantingan kuat yang dilancarkan oleh Atika.
Atika berhasil mengumpulkan 56 poin, jauh meninggalkan atlet Jawa Barat yang hanya mampu meraih 15 poin.
Kekalahan telak ini memaksa Rahmawati menyerah melalui TKO sebelum pertandingan berakhir, mengakui keunggulan Atika yang tak terbantahkan di arena.
Pertandingan ini menjadi tambahan medali emas bagi kontingen Bangka Belitung, setelah sebelumnya Erwinsyah juga menyabet emas di cabang olahraga Hapkido.
Keberhasilan Atika dan Erwinsyah semakin memperlihatkan betapa kuatnya semangat dan dedikasi atlet-atlet Bangka Belitung di kancah olahraga nasional.
Atmosfer di Gor Veteran pun dipenuhi dengan euforia dan sorak-sorai pendukung Bangka Belitung yang tak henti-hentinya memberikan semangat.
Dukungan penuh dari para penonton terus mengalir sepanjang pertandingan, menjadi sumber energi tambahan bagi Atika untuk tampil optimal.
Dengan kemenangan ini, Atika Putriani tidak hanya membawa pulang medali emas, tapi juga harapan dan kebanggaan bagi seluruh masyarakat Bangka Belitung.
Prestasinya menjadi inspirasi bagi generasi muda untuk terus berjuang dan berprestasi di bidang yang mereka tekuni.
Ketua Ikatan Pencak Silat Indonesia (IPSI) Bangka Belitung, dalam wawancaranya, menyampaikan rasa bangganya atas pencapaian para atlet.
“Setelah perjuangan panjang, akhirnya kami bisa memberikan rekor untuk Bangka Belitung di cabang olahraga pencak silat di PON 2024 Aceh-Sumut. Alhamdulillah, kami bisa menyumbangkan satu emas dan dua perunggu. Tentu ini hasil kerja tim antara KONI Bangka Belitung, IPSI Bangka Belitung, seluruh pelatih, manajer, official, dan seluruh tim yang bertanding,” ujar Ketua IPSI.
Dirinya menambahkan bahwa ini adalah sebuah kebanggaan bagi Bangka Belitung yang selama ini mungkin tidak diperhitungkan di tingkat nasional.
“Alhamdulillah, hari ini terbukti kita bisa membawa medali emas lewat kelas F Putri Atika Putriani,” tambahnya.
Pelatih Atika, Reza Hardi, juga tak luput menyampaikan apresiasinya.
“Alhamdulillah, bersyukur sekali Atika Putriani bisa membawa medali emas untuk Bangka Belitung. Ini tentu sejarah bagi Bangka Belitung, Atika bisa bermain dengan bagus sesuai dengan taktik dan strategi yang kita lakukan,” ungkap Reza Hardi.
Reza menjelaskan bahwa Atika mampu menguasai lapangan dengan baik selama pertandingan dan tetap tenang tanpa lepas kontrol maupun emosi.
“Kami tetap pegang fokus Atika, secara mental sudah kita kondisikan sejak malam sebelumnya. Saya dan tim pelatih sudah berbicara dengan Atika untuk memanfaatkan peluang emas ini, dan alhamdulillah Atika berhasil memanfaatkannya dengan baik,” tambah Reza.
Keberhasilan ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan persiapan yang matang dan strategi yang tepat, Bangka Belitung mampu bersaing dan mencatatkan prestasi di tingkat nasional.(Yuko)
