SUNGAILIAT,PERKARANEWS – Divisi Propam Polri memastikan upaya menjaga netralitas seluruh anggota Polri dilakukan dengan berbagai cara. Hal itu menindaklanjuti perintah Kapolri Jenderal Polisi Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
“Ada arahan Pak Kapolri tentang netralitas. Tentunya ada juga Undang-Undang yang mengatur tentang Kepolisian Pasal 28 ayat (1) dan (2), bahwa polisi netral,” ujar Kadiv Propam Polri Irjen. Pol. Syahardiantono, Minggu (17/12/2023).
Dibeberkan Kadiv Propam, mulai dari preemtif, preventif, dan represif kepada anggota telah ada mekanismenya.
Terkait dengan menjaga netralitas Polri, Anggota Kompolnas Albertus Wahyurudhanto menyatakan bahwa masyarakat juga harus memahami terlebih dahulu aturan di Korps Bhayangkara mengenai sikap selama Pemilu 2024. Ditegaskannya, anggota Polri tidak boleh berpolitik, meski keluarganya diperbolehkan.
Dalam konteks ini, ia menuturkan, polisi merupakan salah satu leading sector yang bertanggung jawab memastikan seluruh tahapan pemilu berjalan dengan aman, damai, dan lancar. Meskipun ada anggotanya yang menjadi peserta Pemilu 2024, namun memberikan dukungan bantuan fasilitas tidak diperbolehkan.
“Tetapi terlibat bukan arti memberikan suport kepada kekuatan politik, tapi berikan dukungan ke KPU dan BAWASLU agar berjalan dengan lancar,” ucapnya.
Menurutnya, dalam PKPU dan UU Nomor 17 Tahun 2007 jelas diatur soal tugas polisi menjaga Capres-Cawapres, kotak suara dan memastikan seluruh pengamanan proses pesta demokrasi lima tahunan itu. Sehingga netral yang dilakukan Polri adalah aturan dan sop dipatuhi.
Ia pun mengingatkan bahwa tugas utama polisi menjaga nilai-nilai sipil, dan itu salah satunya adalah demokrasi, diimplementasikan dalam pemilu. Polisi harus menjaga ini dengan baik.
“Jangan menunjukan keterlibatan, baik bentuk simbol, tanda dan kegiatan. Tapi komitmen menjaga agar pemilu lancar. Tentu dengan tupoksi yang sudah diatur tadi,” jelasnya. (Rony Christ/Yuko)
