BELITUNG TIMUR,PERKARANEWS – PT Timah Tbk menyerahkan bantuan pembangunan Masjid Al-Ihsan Dusun Lalang, Desa Mentawak, Kecamatan Kelapa Kampit, Kabupaten Belitung Timur.
Bantuan itu diserahkan langsung PT Timah Tbk kepada Ketua Yayasan dan BKM Masjid Al-Ihsan, Haliliasi yang disaksikan oleh Camat Kampit Susiawati, Kepala Desa Metawak Agung Permana.
Ketua Yayasan dan BKM Masjid Al-Ihsan, Haliliasi mengatakan, mereka sudah mulai membangun baru masjid Al Ihsan sejak tiga tahun lalu.
Ide awal pembangunan masjid baru itu, karena kondisi masjid sudah lama dan kapasitas terlalu kecil sehingga saat jumat apalagi lebaran tidak bisa menampung jemaah dan jemaah harus berada di luar masjid.
“Proses pembangunan masjid ini dari mulai timbun tanah selama satu tahun dan 2019 baru mulai pembangunan,” kata Haliliasi.
Menurutnya, pembangunan masjid itu menggunakan dana swadaya masyarakat dan bantuan beberapa pihak termasuk PT Timah Tbk.
“Jadi bantuan PT Timah Tbk sangat bagus dan menunjang proses pembangunan masjid ini,” sebutnya.
Haliliasi menyebutkan, dalam hal ini PT Timah Tbk sangat meringankan biaya pembangunan masjid itu, karena mereka masih keterbatasan biaya.
Ia menjelaskan, proses pengajuan ke PT Timah Tbk dilakukan mereka pada awal Tahun 2023 kemarin.
“Kita berharap PT Timah Tbk bisa terus maju dan jaya, sehingga bisa mambantu kembali,” tandasnya.
Sementara itu, Kepala Desa Metawak Agung Permana mengapresiasi atas bantuan PT Timah Tbk tersebut, kontribusi PT Timah Tbk sangat nyata membantu masyarakat.
“Kami berterima kasih kepada PT Timah Tbk telah berkontribusi dalam membantu melancarkan dan mempermudah pembangunan masjid ini,” kata Agung.
Menurut Agung, pembangunan masjid itu sudah 3 tahun, sehingga perlu dibantu untuk mempercepat proses pembangunan masjid itu.
“Kita memang kendala dana, maka sangat mengharapkan swadaya masyarakat dan pihak lain seperti PT Timah Tbk,” tandasnya. (Yuko)
