Selain itu, PT Timah Tbk juga meraih penghargaan sebagai Best of The Best Participant ENSIA 2023 yang dinilai dari jumlah paper lolos penjurian dan raihan katagori platinum serta distibusi katagori platinum dari masing-masing aspek.

Emiten berkode TINS ini meraih penghargaan katagori silver sebanyak empat penghargaan, katagori platinum sebanyak 16 penghargaan dan 15 penghargaan katagori Gold. Penghargaan ENSIA 2023 Diterima oleh Kepala Divisi K3LH PT Timah Tbk, Tonggo P. Situmorang.

Penghargaan ini diterima oleh PT Timah Tbk TB Paku, PT Timah Tbk Unit Metalurgi Muntok, PT Timah Tbk Unit Produksi Kundur, PT Timah Tbk TB Pemali dan PT Timah Tbk Tambang Besar Batu Besi.

Penyerahan Penghargaan ENSIA 2023 turut dihadiri Wakil Menteri Kementerian Lingkugan Hidup Kehutanan (KLHK) Alue Dohong, Dirjen Pengendalian Pencemaran dan Kerusakan Lingkungan KLHK Sigit Reliantoro dan Direktur Komersial PT Sucofindo Darwin Abas.

Wakil Menteri KLHK Alue Dohong mengatakan, penghargaan mendorong dunia usaha untuk terus berinovasi dalam melaksanakan pengelolaan yang berkelanjutan.

“Penghargaan ini menjadi pemicu, semangat, dan meningkatkan kesadaran bagi korporasi untuk menjalankan good governance dalam operasionalnya. Selamat atas penghargaan ini semoga langkah yang baik untuk semakin mewujudkan tata kelola lingkungan hidup di Indonesia yang lebih baik dan perubahan iklim yang lebih baik,” katanya.

Sementara itu, Direktur Komersial PT Sucofindo Darwin Abas mengatakan, kesadaran dan inisatif pelaku usaha dalam mengembangkan inovasi lingkungan dan sosial menglami peningkatan di tahun ini.

Penghargaan ENSIA 2023 diikuti sebanyak 106 perusahaan yang terdiri dalam berbagai jenis usaha.

“ENSIA 2023 merupakan apresiasi bagi pelaku usaha, apresiasi ini penting untuk meningkatkan komitmen pengelolaan lingkungan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berkelanjutan. Harapannya inovasi ini akan terus tumbuh sehingga menginspirasi pelaku usaha lainnya untuk melakukan yang sama,” katanya.

Sementara itu, Kepala Divisi K3LH PT Timah Tbk Tonggo mengatakan, inovasi lingkungan atau eco-inovasi menjadi salah satu strategi PT Timah sebagai korporasi dalam menciptakan produk dan proses yang inovatif, yang berkontribusi pada pengurangan dampak lingkungan.

Melalui eco-inovasi dalam aspek efisiensi energi, pengurangan emisi, konservasi air, pemanfaatan limbah (B3dan Non-B3) yang terintegrasi dalam kajian daur hidup, serta aspek perlindungan keanekaragaman hayati dan spirit green leadership, mendorong optimisme PT Timah Tbk tidak hanya pro-lingkungan, tetapi juga pertimbangan aspek sosial dan ekonomi untuk perbaikan yang berkelanjutan.
