PANGKALPINANG,Perkaranews.com -Pendaftaran Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) Program Beasiswa PT Timah Tbk Pada SMAN 1 Pemali di Kabupaten Bangka dimulai hari ini, Senin (10/4/2023) dan akan berakhir hingga 5 Mei 2023 mendatang.
Proses pendaftaran dapat dilakukan melalui laman https://ppdb2023.beasiswatimah.com/home.php dan mengisi formulir yang telah disiapkan.
Selain itu, para pendaftar juga harus menyiapkan beberapa dokumen seperti pas foto, fotocopy KK, Kartu Indonesia Pintar/Program Keluarga Harapan/Surat Keterangan Tidak Mampu, Fotocopy Piagam Prestasi Bidang Akademik maupun Non Akademik, Fotocoopy Raport kelas VIII semeseter 1 dan 2, dan kelas IX semester 1 yang dilegalisir.
Persyaratan lainnya yang harus diunggah yakni Melampirkan foto keluarga inti (Orangtua/Wali dan Saudara Kandung) serta foto tempat tinggal peserta didik, menulis Esai (tulis tangan), melampirkan surat pernyataan kesehatan, memiliki nilai laporan hasil belajar kelas VIII semester 1 dan 2, kelas IX semester 1 minimal 75 dan Tuntas KKM untuk mata pelajaran IPA, Matematika, Bahasa Inggris, dan Bahasa Indonesia, melampirkan surat keterangan kelakuan baik yang dikeluarkan oleh sekolah dan membuat surat pernyataan keabsahan informasi dan dokumen.
Program Beasiswa PT Timah Tbk Pada SMAN 1 Pemali ini diperuntukkan bagi pelajar SMP di wilayah operasional perusahaan yakni di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung,Kabupaten Karimun Provinsi Kepulauan Riau dan Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti Provinsi Riau yang akan melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang SMA.
Melalui program ini, PT Timah Tbk memberikan kesempatan bagi anak-anak di wilayah operasional untuk mengenyam pendidikan gratis. Dimana program ini dikhususkan bagi siswa yang berprestasi yang kurang beruntung secara ekonomi.
Program kelas beasiswa PT Timah Tbk menggunakan boarding dengan sistem asrama. Di mana para penerima beasiswa tidak hanya mendapatkan beasiswa pendidikan namun juga kebutuhan hidup dan perlengkapan sekolah.
Kepala Bidang Komunikasi Perusahaan PT Timah Tbk, Anggi Siahaan mengatakan, program Beasiswa PT Timah Tbk Pada SMAN 1 Pemali merupakan komitmen PT Timah Tbk untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia di lingkar tambang.
Anggi mengatakan, program ini bahkan telah dimulai pada tahun 2000 silam dan telah meluluskan sekitar 815 alumni.
