PERKARANEWS.COM,Sungaliat : INTACT Base Bangka Belitung menggelar kegiatan sosialisasi kelas Bahasa Mandarin yang berlangsung di ruang presentasi Kampus Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bangka Belitung (Polman Babel), Kamis (29/01/2026).
Kegiatan ini menjadi bagian dari upaya membuka wawasan mahasiswa terhadap peluang karier global yang diikuti oleh 29 mahasiswa tingkat akhir dari berbagai perguruan tinggi. Selain mahasiswa Polman Babel, peserta juga berasal dari Universitas Bangka Belitung (UBB) dan ISB Atma Luhur.
Sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi mahasiswa mengenai pentingnya penguasaan bahasa asing, khususnya Bahasa Mandarin, sebagai bekal menghadapi persaingan dunia kerja yang semakin ketat.
Dalam sambutannya, Ir. Dedy Ramdhani Harahap, M.Sc., (Eng) mengungkapkan pengembangan karier perlu dipersiapkan sejak dini dan terus berupaya mengarahkan mahasiswa pada jalur karier yang jelas agar tidak berakhir sebagai pengangguran setelah lulus,” ucapnya.
Menurutny Dedy, penguasaan Bahasa Mandarin dapat menjadi nilai tambah yang signifikan. Selain membuka peluang kerja yang lebih luas, proses belajar bahasa tersebut juga dapat dikemas secara menyenangkan sehingga tidak terasa membebani mahasiswa.
“Ia juga menyinggung sejak tahun 2017, Taiwan dikenal sebagai negara yang sangat terbuka dan ramah terhadap pelajar asal Indonesia, baik dalam bidang pendidikan maupun peluang kerja setelah lulus,” terangnya.
Lebih lanjut, dijelaskan kemampuan berbahasa Mandarin dapat membuka akses terhadap berbagai sektor pekerjaan dengan peluang gaji yang layak dan kompetitif, khususnya di perusahaan internasional dan kawasan Asia Tenggara,” sebutnya.
Kegiatan ini juga menjadi sarana untuk mengajak mahasiswa tingkat akhir agar lebih melek peluang global, tidak hanya berfokus pada pasar kerja lokal, tetapi juga berani bersaing di tingkat internasional,” imbuhnya.
Menariknya, kelas Bahasa Mandarin yang ditawarkan melalui program INTACT Base ini diberikan secara gratis, lengkap dengan bimbingan intensif dalam program pembelajaran Bahasa Mandarin,” pungkasnya.
Sementara itu, Kepala Unit Penunjang Akademik Pengembangan Karier dan Kewirausahaan, Harwadi, M.Ed., menyampaikan program INTENSE Taiwan telah membuka kesempatan bagi mahasiswa Polman Babel untuk berkarir di luar negeri dan salah satu usaha institusi dalam memberikan peluang perencanaan karir yang lebih baik bagi mahasiswa Polman Babel,” katanya.
Harwadi menuturkan dengan mendukung mahasiswa yang peduli dan memikirkan akan seperti apa karir yang akan digeluti. Untuk itu silahkan dimanfaatkan kanal-kanal yang disediakan oleh UPA Pusat Karir dan Kewirausahaan untuk berkonsultasi.
“Kedepan program kerjasama luar negeri akan diekspansi ke negara lainnya agar mahasiswa dan alumni Polman Babel memiliki pilihan yang lebih beragam bagi karir masa depan mereka menempuh pendidikan doktoralnya di Taiwan,” akuinya.
Di sisi lain, Nopita, B.Ed., selaku pengajar Bahasa Mandarin INTACT Base, menceritakan belajar Bahasa Mandarin tidak perlu dianggap rumit, selama ada niat dan konsistensi dalam belajar.
“Siapa pun pasti bisa menguasainya karena setiap mahasiswa yang dilatih dapat berkomunikasi menggunakan bahasa Mandarin hanya dalam 60 kali pertemuan,” jelasnya.
Nopita juga mendorong peserta seminar untuk melihat keterampilan berbahasa Mandarin dapat meningkatkan peluang untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan di Indonesia ditengah semakin banyaknya perusahaan asal Tiongkok dan Taiwan yang berinvenstasi di Indonesia’, tutup Nopita (AH)
