Dari Warung ke Industri Rumahan: Perjalanan Camilan Kulit Ayam ‘Tukenia’ Bersama PT Timah Tbk

BANGKA,PERKARANEWS.COM – Di balik renyahnya camilan kulit ayam crispy ‘Tukenia”, tersimpan kisah perjuangan seorang perempuan tangguh bernama Kurnia Ningsih atau akrab disapa Nia.

Pemilik industri rumahan asal Bangka ini berhasil membuktikan bahwa ketekunan dan semangat beradaptasi mampu membawa usahanya bertahan bahkan berkembang di tengah keterbatasan.

Usaha “Tukenia” mulai dirintis Nia sejak 2017. Awalnya, ia membuka warung makan sederhana dengan menu utama kulit ayam goreng. Namun, ketika pandemi COVID-19 melanda, usahanya terpaksa berhenti sementara karena adanya pembatasan jam operasional.

“Warung kami dulu buka sampai malam. Saat pandemi, kami tidak bisa berjualan seperti biasa karena ada pembatasan aktivitas. Penghasilan menurun drastis,” kenang Nia.

Tak ingin menyerah, Nia mencari cara agar usahanya tetap berjalan. Dari hasil diskusi dengan sang suami, muncul ide untuk mengubah menu kulit ayam menjadi snack kering siap saji agar bisa dijual tanpa membuka warung.

“Saya berpikir bagaimana caranya supaya usaha tetap jalan. Akhirnya kami mencoba mengolah kulit ayam jadi camilan crispy yang tahan lama dan bisa dijual ke rumah-rumah,” ujarnya.

Tahun 2019 menjadi titik kebangkitan bagi Nia. Ia dan suaminya mulai serius memproduksi keripik kulit ayam crispy dengan merek Tukenia. Produk ini dibuat dari bahan kulit ayam segar yang dibersihkan dengan teliti, diolah menggunakan bumbu rempah alami tanpa pengawet, dan dikemas secara higienis.

“Kami ingin menjaga cita rasa gurih dan aromatik khas rempah Nusantara. Semua bumbu kami racik sendiri, tanpa bahan pengawet,” jelas Nia.

Keseriusan Nia dalam berusaha membawa dirinya bertemu dengan program kemitraan Pendananaan Usaha Mikro Kecil (PUMK) PT TIMAH Tbk melalui kegiatan pelatihan dari Dinas Koperasi dan UMKM. Dari sanalah ia mengenal lebih jauh tentang kemudahan akses permodalan dan pembinaan yang diberikan perusahaan kepada pelaku UMKM.

“Proses bermitra dengan CSR PT TIMAH Tbk sangat mudah. Syaratnya ringan dan angsuran pengembaliannya juga tidak memberatkan,” katanya.

Selain mendapatkan bantuan modal usaha, Nia juga merasakan banyak manfaat dari berbagai pelatihan dan pameran UMKM yang diinisiasi PT Timah Tbk. Melalui kegiatan tersebut, ia mendapat wawasan baru tentang pemasaran dan pengembangan produk.

“Kami tidak hanya dibantu modal, tapi juga dibina. PT TIMAH Tbk sering melibatkan kami di pameran nasional dan event perusahaan. Ini sangat membantu promosi produk kami,” tutur Nia.

Sebagai mitra binaan, Nia berharap agar sistem pinjaman modal dapat kembali seperti sebelumnya, yakni langsung dikelola oleh PT TIMAH Tbk tanpa perantara bank.

“Harapan kami semoga sistemnya bisa kembali seperti dulu, langsung dari PT TIMAH Tbk, karena bantuan ini sangat membantu pelaku UMKM seperti kami,” ujarnya.

Kini, selain menjual camilan kulit ayam crispy, Nia juga mengembangkan usahanya dengan membuka gerai minuman teh kekinian yang menghadirkan berbagai varian seperti teh rosella, teh hijau, dan teh original Solo.
