KUNDUR, PERKARANEWS.COM — PT Timah berkolaborasi dengan Dinas Koperasi Usaha Mikro, Perdagangan dan ESDM Kabupaten Karimun kembali menggelar Bimbingan Teknis
Manajemen Kelembagaan dan Pengembangan Usaha bagi pengurus Koperasi Merah Putih yang digelar di Gedung Serba Guna Wisma Timah Kundur, Kamis (14/8/2025).
Sebanyak 52 perwakilan dari Desa dan Kelurahan di Lima kecamatan Pulau Kundur antusias mengikuti bimbingan teknis ini. Melalui Bimtek ini diharapkan para pengurus koperasi dapat lebih optimal dalam menjalankan koperasi merah putih.
Kepala Dinas Koperasi Usaha Mikro, Perdagangan, dan ESDM dengan PT Timah Tbk Basori, menyampaikan apresiasinya terhadap dukungan PT Timah yang konsisten berkontribusi dalam pengembangan koperasi di wilayah tersebut.
Menurutnya, peran PT Timah sebagai BUMN tidak hanya sebatas pembinaan koperasi, tetapi juga turut memberdayakan UMKM dan memberikan dukungan di berbagai sektor.
“Kolaborasi ini menjadi langkah penting untuk memajukan koperasi di Kabupaten Karimun, sehingga mampu menjadi motor penggerak perekonomian masyarakat,” ujar Basori.
Sementara itu, Departement Head Corporate Communication PT Timah Tbk, Anggi Siahaan, menjelaskan bahwa koperasi memiliki peran strategis dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat, menciptakan lapangan kerja, serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan anggotanya.
“Melalui Bimtek ini, kami berharap para peserta dapat memperoleh keterampilan manajemen yang lebih baik, serta strategi pengelolaan koperasi yang efektif, profesional, dan berkelanjutan. Harapannya, hasil pelatihan ini bisa langsung diaplikasikan di lapangan sehingga koperasi menjadi lebih kuat, mandiri, dan mampu bersaing di era modern sehingga bisa meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat,” jelas Anggi.
Salah satu peserta Bimtek, Agus Kurniawan, mengaku kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat, khususnya dalam memahami pengelolaan koperasi merah putih sesuai aturan yang berlaku.
“Kami senang sekali dengan adanya Bimtek ini karena memberikan pelajaran berarti agar nantinya kami bisa mengelola koperasi merah putih dengan baik dan memberikan dampak ekonomi bagi masyarakat. Memang di awal pasti ada banyak tantangan, dan dukungan seperti ini sangat kami butuhkan,” ungkap Agus.
Sebelumnya, PT Timah juga telah menggelar Bimtek ini yang dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Karimun yang berlangsung di Gedung Nilam Sari, Rabu (13/7/2025).
Melalui kegiatan ini, PT Timah kembali menegaskan komitmennya untuk hadir dan mendukung penguatan ekonomi kerakyatan, salah satunya melalui pemberdayaan koperasi merah putih di wilayah operasional. (Yuko)
