Kali ini PT Timah membangun rumah layak huni untuk Iwan warga Desa Kundur, Kabupaten Karimun, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Bantuan Rumah Layak Huni merupakan upaya perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat
Berkolaborasi dengan Kodim 0317 TBK, PT Timah memberikan harapan bagi Iwan dan keluarga untuk bisa tinggal di rumah yang aman dan nyaman.
Iwan mengapresiasi PT Timah dan Kodim 0317 TBK yang telah membantu dirinya bersama keluarga untuk bisa mendapatkan rumah yang lebih layak.
“Terima kasih PT Timah dan Kodim 0317 TBK yang sudah memberikan rumah tinggal layak huni bagi saya dan keluarga. Jaya selalu PT Timah,” katanya.
Sebelumnya, PT Timah juga membangun Nasir yang merupakan warga Desa Gemuruh, Bukit Senang, Kecamatan Kundur mengaku akhirnya bisa tidur dengan tenang dan nyaman setelah rumahnya direnovasi oleh PT Timah bersama Kodim 0317/TBK.
Program ini menjadi bagian dari upaya perusahaan untuk mendukung peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat, khususnya bagi keluarga prasejahtera yang tinggal di rumah tidak layak huni.
Departement Head Corporate Communication PT Timah Anggi Siahaan mengatakan, PT Timah berkomitmen untuk mendukung peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat dan mendukung program Pemerintah untuk mengentaskan kemiskinan.
Pada tahun 2024 lalu, PT Timah telah membantu membangun 33 unit rumah layak huni bagi masyarakat di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung dan Provinsi Kepulauan Riau.
“PT Timah terus berkomitmen untuk memberi manfaat bagi masyarakat di wilayah operasional salah satunya melalui program rumah layak huni bagi masyarakat di wilayah operasional perusahaan. Program ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan masyarakat,” katanya.(Yuko)
