PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS.COM-Pesta demokrasi Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) Kota Pangkalpinang diprediksi akan berlangsung sengit. Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel) memberikan angin segar bagi partai politik yang berhasil meraih suara signifikan pada Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) 2024 lalu.
Ketua KPU Babel, Husen, menegaskan bahwa partai yang mengamankan minimal 12.455 suara berhak mengusung pasangan calon (paslon) walikota dan wakil walikota secara mandiri, tanpa perlu berkoalisi.
“Berdasarkan hasil rekapitulasi suara Pemilu 2024 di Kota Pangkalpinang, partai yang memperoleh minimal 12.455 suara dapat mengusung paslon sendiri,” ujar Husen kepada awak media, Kamis (1/5)
Data resmi rekapitulasi KPU Kota Pangkalpinang menunjukkan empat partai politik yang memenuhi syarat untuk mengusung paslon secara mandiri, yaitu:
* Partai Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan (PDI Perjuangan): 21.931 suara
* Partai NasDem: 19.778 suara
* Partai Gerindra: 17.360 suara
* Partai Golongan Karya (Golkar): 15.052 suara
Sementara itu, partai-partai dengan perolehan suara di bawah ambang batas tersebut, seperti Partai Demokrat (11.006 suara), Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) (10.282 suara), Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) (9.834 suara), Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN) (7.655 suara) dan Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa (PKB) (6.722 suara) harus membangun koalisi untuk dapat mengajukan kandidat.
“Ini adalah kesempatan yang sangat baik bagi masyarakat luas untuk turut serta dalam kontestasi kepemimpinan di Pangkalpinang,” kata Husen, memprediksi Pilkada Kota Pangkalpinang akan diramaikan oleh 7 hingga 8 pasangan calon.
Sedangkan perolehan suara Partai Perindo (1.413 suara), PSI (972 suara), Gelora (994 suara), Hanura (379 suara), Partai Buruh (347 suara), PBB (323 suara), Partai Ummat (227 suara), PKN (166 suara), dan Partai Garuda (107 suara) non palermen tidak memiliki kursi di DPRD Pangkalpinang.
Husen menekankan bahwa semakin banyak pasangan calon yang berkompetisi, semakin baik pula bagi kualitas demokrasi.
“Makin banyak paslon, maka demokrasi kita akan semakin hebat dan kuat. Masyarakat Pangkalpinang akan memiliki banyak pilihan untuk menentukan pemimpin terbaik bagi kota mereka,” pungkasnya.
Dengan dibukanya peluang lebar bagi banyak pihak untuk maju, Pilkada Kota Pangkalpinang diprediksi akan menjadi arena pertarungan ide dan gagasan yang menarik, serta memberikan kesempatan bagi masyarakat untuk benar-benar memilih pemimpin sesuai dengan aspirasi mereka.(Yuko)
