Pada momen bulan suci Ramadan 1446 Hijriah ini, PT Timah kembali menyalurkan bantuan untuk rumah ibadah, kali ini Masjid Al-Hidayah di Kampung Tegal Rejo, Mentok, Kabupaten Bangka Barat.
Bantuan yang diberikan PT Timah akan digunakan untuk memperbaiki tempat wudhu masjid yang rusak. Ketua Masjid Al-Hidayah, Sarbudiono, menyampaikan rasa syukurnya atas bantuan tersebut. “Alhamdulillah, hari ini kami mendapatkan bantuan dari PT Timah, akan digunakan untuk perbaikan atau renovasi tempat wudhu khusus perempuan di Masjid kami,” ujarnya.
Sarbudiono menjelaskan bahwa tempat penampungan air wudhu masjid tersebut sebelumnya roboh, sehingga tempat wudhu perempuan tidak dapat digunakan. “Kemarin itu tempat penampungan air wudhunya roboh atau jebol, sehingga tempat wudhu untuk perempuan itu menjadi tidak ada. Kami ajukan permohonan ke PT Timah untuk bantuan renovasi tempat penampungan air yang roboh tersebut, dan Alhamdulillah hari ini permohonan kami dikabulkan,” katanya.
Ia juga mengapresiasi peran PT Timah yang selama ini kerap membantu rumah ibadah di wilayah Mentok. “Kami bersyukur kepada Allah SWT, di mana hari ini kami melihat PT Timah peduli kepada tempat-tempat ibadah yang ada di Mentok khususnya,” ungkap Sarbudiono.
Ini bukan kali pertama PT Timah memberikan bantuan kepada Masjid Al-Hidayah. Sarbudiono menyebutkan bahwa PT Timah telah tiga kali memberikan bantuan untuk masjid mereka. “Ini merupakan kali ketiga kami dibantu oleh PT Timah, di mana sebelumnya kami juga pernah dibantu biaya pembangunan masjid, sekitar tiga tahun yang lalu. Di mana sebelumnya kami juga pernah dibantu kegiatan santunan anak yatim yang ada di sekitar Masjid Al-Hidayah,” ucapnya.
Sarbudiono berharap PT Timah terus berjaya dan memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat di sekitar Mentok. “Semoga PT Timah senantiasa jaya dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat yang ada di sekitar Mentok ini, serta memberikan sumbangsihnya kepada masyarakat baik itu program-program, pembangunan tempat ibadah, bantuan sosial, dan juga bantuan untuk masyarakat yang membutuhkan,” pungkasnya.
