PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Menteri Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah (Mendikdasmen) Republik Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu’ti, melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel) pada Sabtu (18/01/2025). Kunjungan ini dalam rangka menghadiri perayaan Milad Muhammadiyah ke-112 yang diselenggarakan di Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Muntok, Kabupaten Bangka Barat. Kehadiran Mendikdasmen memberikan semangat baru bagi pergerakan Muhammadiyah di daerah tersebut.
Kedatangan Mendikdasmen di Muntok turut didampingi oleh Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Babel, Sugito, beserta rombongan. Kehadiran para pejabat tinggi ini menunjukkan dukungan pemerintah terhadap kiprah Muhammadiyah dalam pembangunan bangsa, khususnya di bidang pendidikan dan sosial.
Dalam arahannya, Mendikdasmen Abdul Mu’ti menyampaikan bahwa tema Milad Muhammadiyah tingkat Provinsi Babel ke-112, yaitu “Kemakmuran Bagi Semua,” sejalan dengan perintah Allah SWT yang tercantum dalam Alquran. Ia menekankan bahwa manusia ditugaskan untuk berbuat kebaikan dan memakmurkan semua orang, termasuk makhluk Allah lainnya.
Mendikdasmen menjelaskan bahwa untuk mewujudkan kemakmuran, diperlukan ilmu pengetahuan yang memadai. Ia mengapresiasi upaya Muhammadiyah yang sejak awal berdirinya telah berkontribusi melalui pendirian sekolah-sekolah di seluruh Indonesia, mulai dari tingkat dasar, menengah, hingga perguruan tinggi. Hal ini membuktikan komitmen Muhammadiyah dalam mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa.
Abdul Mu’ti juga menyoroti perkembangan pesat Muhammadiyah yang tidak hanya di Indonesia, tetapi juga di beberapa negara lain. Ia berharap kehadiran Muhammadiyah di Babel dapat terus memberikan manfaat yang besar bagi masyarakat. Kontribusi Muhammadiyah di berbagai bidang, khususnya pendidikan dan sosial, sangat dirasakan oleh masyarakat luas.
Pj Gubernur Sugito menambahkan bahwa Muhammadiyah, yang didirikan pada tanggal 18 November 1912 di Yogyakarta oleh K.H. Ahmad Dahlan, memiliki arti penting dalam sejarah perjuangan bangsa dan telah memberikan kontribusi di berbagai sektor. Kontribusi tersebut sangat dirasakan di Babel, dengan berdirinya berbagai amal usaha di bidang pendidikan, kesehatan, dan sosial.
Sugito juga menyampaikan harapannya agar Muhammadiyah dapat terus mengembangkan kiprahnya di Babel, misalnya dengan mendirikan fakultas kedokteran dan Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah, serta menjadi mitra strategis pemerintah daerah dalam pembangunan. Hal ini akan semakin memperkuat sinergi antara pemerintah dan organisasi masyarakat dalam mewujudkan kesejahteraan bagi seluruh masyarakat Babel.(MJ01)
