PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Wakil Menteri Agama (Wamenag) RI Saiful Rahmat Dasuki tiba di Pangkalpinang Kamis (17/10) pukul 18.00 waktu setempat. Disambut Penjabat (Pj) Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel) Fery Afriyanto, Wamenag Saiful Rahmat beserta rombongan berbincang seputar kesiapan rangkaian kunjungan kerja, diantaranya ialah groundbreaking atau peletakan batu pertama Sekolah Tinggi Agama Khonghucu Indonesia Negeri (STIAKIN) Kepulauan Bangka Belitung.
Peletakan batu pertama yang telah teragendakan Jumat (18/10) pagi tersebut bertempat di lokasi pembangunan STIAKIN, yakni di Jalan Tanjung Bunga, Kelurahan Temberan, Kecamatan Bukit Intan, Pangkalpinang. Sejumlah tamu undangan dijadwalkan hadir, termasuk para staf ahli Kementerian Koordinator Bidang Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan (Kemenko PMK), Perwakilan Kementerian PUPR, serta Pemda setempat.
“Pak Wamenag diagendakan melakukan peletakan batu pertama di STIAKIN yang sekaligus menandakan pembangunan akan berlangsung. Semoga semuanya lancar tidak ada kendala. Selain itu, hal lainnya dalam rangka kunjungan kerja,” terang Sekda Fery.
Diketahui sebelumnya, pembangunan STIAKIN memang sudah melalui serangkaian tahapan. Nantinya, STIAKIN ini akan berada di bawah naungan Bimas Agama Khonghucu Kementerian Agama. Pada sekolah tinggi tersebut direncanakan akan membuka tiga program studi baru, yakni Pendidikan Komunikasi Publik, Pendidikan Agama untuk Penyuluh Agama Khonghucu, dan Pendidikan Agama untuk Guru Agama Khonghucu.
Kepala Pusat Bimbingan dan Pendidikan Khonghucu, Susari mengatakan, pembangunan STIAKIN tersebut diharapkan dapat menjadi tonggak sejarah baru bagi pendidikan agama Khonghucu di Indonesia, khususnya di Kepulauan Babel yang notabene memiliki cukup banyak penganut Khonghucu.
“Pembangunan Sekolah Tinggi Agama Khonghucu Negeri ini tentunya mencerminkan komitmen negara dalam memberikan layanan pendidikan bagi seluruh umat beragama, termasuk umat Khonghucu,” tambah Susari.
Selain itu, ia berharap dengan dilakukannya peletakan batu pertama STIAKIN selanjutnya dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi perkembangan pendidikan di Indonesia.(Yuko)
