PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Atlet pencak silat asal Bangka Belitung, Atika Putriani, berhasil melangkah ke babak final setelah menaklukkan lawannya dari Papua Barat di kelas F Putri Pencak Silat PON XXI 2024 Aceh-Sumut.
Pertandingan yang berlangsung di Gor Veteran, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara, pada Kamis, 12 September 2024, menjadi saksi ketangguhan Atika yang meraih kemenangan telak dengan skor 34-20.
Atika, yang dikenal dengan paras cantiknya, tampil agresif namun tetap mempertahankan teknik yang matang.
Sejak awal pertandingan, Atika menunjukkan dominasinya melalui serangan-serangan efektif dan pertahanan yang kokoh, membuat atlet dari Papua Barat kesulitan mengimbangi ritme permainan.
Dengan kemenangan ini, Atika semakin dekat dengan impiannya untuk meraih medali emas di PON XXI 2024.
Di partai final, Atika akan berhadapan dengan atlet tangguh dari Jawa Barat. Pertandingan ini diprediksi akan berlangsung sengit karena kedua atlet memiliki kualitas yang mumpuni dan sama-sama berambisi mengincar gelar juara.
Pertandingan final kelas F Putri ini menjadi salah satu partai yang paling dinantikan dalam ajang PON XXI 2024.
Reza, pelatih Atika Putriani, yang ditemui setelah pertandingan semifinal, memberikan komentarnya terkait performa anak asuhnya dan persiapan menuju final.
“Alhamdulillah, terkait pertandingan pada hari ini, kami melakukan pertandingan dua, atas nama Rindu Amelia dan Atika Putriani. Untuk Rindu Amelia, kita sudah maksimal, tapi karena di cabang olahraga ini keputusan bukan nomor terukur, banyak faktor X yang bisa terjadi, salah satunya Rindu Amelia kalah dari Jawa Tengah,” jelas reza.
Lebih lanjut, ia mengapresiasi perjuangan Atika yang berhasil lolos ke final.
“Untuk Atika, Alhamdulillah, Atika sudah berjuang maksimal dan hasilnya bisa kita lihat, Atika berhasil melaju ke partai final. Besok, ia akan melawan Jawa Barat di partai final.” tambahnya.
Reza juga menyinggung insiden yang terjadi saat semifinal, di mana Atika mengalami pelanggaran dari lawan.
“Tadi ada pelanggaran dari Papua yang dilakukan secara sengaja, menyebabkan Atika berada dalam kondisi yang tidak nyaman. Namun, kita sudah menyiapkan tim dokter dari Koni Provinsi Bangka Belitung yang langsung menangani. Sekarang Atika fokus istirahat dan menyiapkan mental untuk partai final pada Jumat, 13 September 2024.” ujar Reza.
“Kita sangat bersyukur. Insya Allah Bangka Belitung akan mencetak sejarah dan rekor, karena kita sudah mendapatkan dua medali perunggu dan satu partai final untuk memperebutkan medali emas atau perak.” ungkap Reza penuh rasa syukur.
Sementara itu, Ketua Koni Provinsi Bangka Belitung Ricky Kurniawan memberikan apresiasi luar biasa usai melihat langsung laga pertandingan antara Atika Putriani dan atlet Papua Barat.
Tak lupa dirinya juga berharap agar pertandingan di laga final besok Atika bisa memberikan yang terbaik untuk Bangka Belitung.
“Harapan kita semoga besok Atika bisa tampil maksimal juga, walaupun tadi ada sedikit insiden pada saat Atika selesai pertandingan karena perutnya terinjak oleh lawan. Semoga lekas sembuh dan besok bisa prima lagi untuk bertanding melawan Jawa Barat di partai final,” ujar Ricky Kurniawan.
Atika Putriani kini tinggal selangkah lagi menuju puncak prestasi di ajang PON XXI 2024.
Masyarakat Bangka Belitung pun berharap agar Atika bisa membawa pulang medali emas dan mengharumkan nama daerah.
Semua mata akan tertuju pada partai final yang bakal menjadi pertarungan sengit antara dua atlet terbaik di kelasnya.(Yuko)
