PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS–PT Timah melaksanakan program Employee Volunteering Kelas Inspirasi yang dilaksanakan di SMP N 2 Kundur Utara, Kabupaten Karimun, Jumat (9/8/2024).

Employee Volunteering Kelas Inspirasi PT Timah ini disambut antusias oleh para pelajar di SMP N 2 Kundur Utara. Beragam keseruan dilakukan mulai dari bermain games kemerdekaan, edukasi dan motivasi membuat suasana semakin meriah.

Employee Volunteering Kelas Inspirasi adalah bagian dari program budaya SnO2 / [se.nya.wa] TIMAH yang merupakan hasil kolaborasi Bagian Culture & Employee Experience pada Divisi Human Capital dengan Duta Velocity, serta IKT Wilayah Kundur untuk berbagi pengetahuan dan pengalaman.

Kegiatan ini sebagai salah satu upaya mengidupkan perilaku Harmonis sesuai Core Values AKHLAK serta membangun social business partnership.

Melalui Kelas Inspirasi, PT Timah mengenalkan proses bisnis perusahaan kepada pelajar, memberikan motivasi, berbagi pegalaman karyawan dan memberikan tips mengembangkan diri, keterampilan belajar dan manajemen waktu yang baik.

Kepala Bidang Komunikasi Perusahaan PT Timah, Anggi Siahaan menjelaskan, program employee volunteering melibatkan manajemen dan pegawai untuk melakukan aksi kebaikan yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat maupun komunitas.

“PT Timah terus menjalin harmonisasi dengan berbagai lapisan masyarakat termasuk para pelajar. Program employee volunteering langkah nyata karyawan PT Timah untuk ikut andil dalam mendukung sektor pendidikan,” kata Anggi.

Sementara itu, Plt Kepala SMP N 2 Kundur Utara, Nurrifda menceritakan para pelajarnya sangat antusias mengikuti Kelas Inspirasi karyawan PT Timah.

Menurutnya, kegiatan ini memberikan gambaran bagi para pelajar mereka yang ingin dan berminat untuk berkarir di Perusahaan pertambangan. Apalagi sudah ada alumni SMPN 2 Kundur Utara yang sudah bekerja di PT Timah.

“Ada banyak hal yang dipelajari siswa, seperti mereka jadi tahu tentang PT Timah dan sejarah pertambangan timah di Indonesia di daerah mana saja ada timah,” ucapnya.

Nurrifda menambahkan, kegiatan ini sangat mendukung dan termasuk pendidikan wawasan lingkungan di sekitar sekolah karena pertambangan timah ada di wilayah Pulau Kundur.

“Harapan kami dengan adanya kegiatan ini dapat menginspirasi dan menambah wawasan mengenai tambang timah yang berada di Pulau Kundur dan Pangkalpinang,” ucapnya.(Yuko)
