PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS — Konfederasi Jurnalis Thailand (CTJ) mengundang jurnalis dan fotografer pers dari negara-negara anggota Konfederasi Jurnalis ASEAN (CAJ) untuk berpartisipasi dalam lomba foto tahun 2024 dengan tema “Embracing Sustainable Tourism Through Your Lens.”
“Konfederasi Jurnalis Thailand (CTJ) sangat yakin bahwa pariwisata berkelanjutan adalah cara bagi negara-negara di kawasan untuk merevitalisasi industri pariwisata sekaligus menjaga lingkungan,” kata Thepchai Yong dari CTJ dalam keterangan yang diteruskan Sekjen CAJ, Ahmed Kurnia, Selasa (2/4/2024).
Sebagai jurnalis, lanjut Thepchai, kami juga percaya pada kekuatan fotografi dalam membantu mewujudkan kebutuhan akan pariwisata berkelanjutan.
Menurut CTJ, dipilihnya lomba foto tentang pariwisata berkelanjutan karena pariwisata kembali menjadi motor penggerak utama perekonomian negara-negara ASEAN pasca pandemi Covid-19. Namun kebangkitan pariwisata juga menimbulkan kekhawatiran mengenai dampaknya terhadap lingkungan.
Untuk itu, Konfederasi Jurnalis Thailand (CTJ) memperpanjang batas waktu pengiriman foto dan memberi kriteria bagi yang akan ikut lomba, sebagai berikut:
• Foto harus pernah dipublikasikan di media cetak atau platform online berita selama periode Maret 2023-Maret 2024
• Foto harus menonjolkan pesona atau keunikan suatu destinasi atau lokasi
• Foto harus meningkatkan kesadaran akan perlunya menerapkan pariwisata berkelanjutan
• Foto harus asli, tidak diubah atau diperbaiki secara digital
• Setiap penyerahan harus menyertakan informasi tentangnya
• Lokasi, tanggal pengambilan foto dan kapan dipublikasikan. Hal ini juga harus mencakup keterangan singkat, menjelaskan bagaimana kontribusinya terhadap pariwisata berkelanjutan
• Gambar beresolusi tinggi dalam format JPG, ukuran minimal 5mb. Setiap negara anggota CAJ berhak mengirimkan hingga 10 gambar foto.
Periode penyerahan: 1 Januari hingga 30 April 2024
Adapun pengumuman pemenang pada tanggal 24 Juni 2024.
Menanggapi lomba yang diadakan Confederation of Thai Journalist (CTJ), Presiden Confederation of ASEAN Journalist (CAJ) Atal S Depari menyambut baik lomba fotografi pariwisata untuk wartawan di ASEAN karena merupakan inisiatif yang bagus untuk mempromosikan keindahan dan keberagaman destinasi pariwisata di kawasan.
“Perlombaan semacam ini dapat memperkuat hubungan antarwartawan dari negara-negara ASEAN, serta meningkatkan pemahaman akan kekayaan budaya dan alam yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing negara,” kata Atal S Depari.
