JAKARTA,PERKARANEWS — Kondisi perekonomian Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung saat ini tidak baik-baik saja. Bukan tanpa sebab, karena ketergantungan masyarakat terhadap sektor pertambangan timah sebagai sumber ekonomi masih sangat tinggi dibandingkan dengan sektor lainnya seperti pertanian, kelautan dan pariwisata.
“Untuk pertambangan boleh dikatakan saat ini masyarakat menjerit. Dikarenakan masyarakat penambang kecil mau jual timahnya tidak ada yang mau beli, PT. Timah pun kadang beli kadang tidak, beli pun kadang harganya murah dan pihak smelter pun saat ini tidak berani membeli,” ungkap Adet Mastur SH, MH, Ketua Komisi Tiga DPRD Babel, saat berkunjung ke kantor pusat PT timah Tbk, di Jakarta, Senin (25/3/2024).
Hal inilah yang menjadi ke khawatiran Komisi III DPRD Kep. Babel untuk berkoordinasi terkait PERTAMBANGAN dan ekspor timah ke PT. Timah Tbk. Kehadiran Komisi III langsung disambut oleh Kabid GovRel PT Timah Tbk, IPutu Asre Ardana, didampingi Guntur Kabid Sekpro dan beserta jajaran PT Timah Tbk.
Dalam pertemuan tersebut, Adet Mastur SH, MH, Ketua Komisi III DPRD Kep. Babel menyampaikan agar dapat dicarikan solusi terhadap carut marutnya tata kelola niaga pertambangan timah, sehingga dapat berjalan sebaik mungkin dan berdampak positif terhadap kemajuan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung.
“Tentunya kami dari dulu di DPRD Babel terus menyuarakan, ayo atur tata niaga pertimahan yang ada disini (Babel). Kalau berbicara kerugian di daerah memang sangat mencolok, dimana kerugian negara yang mencapai ratusan triliun, sedangkan APBN kita juga ratusan triliun. Dengan ratusan triliun maka bisa kita bayangkan bagaimana pembangunan yang ada di Bangka Belitung ini,” terangnya.
Dirinya juga menambahkan, kehadiran Komisi III ke kantor pusat plat merah tersebut sebagai bentuk perhatian dan kepedulian wakil rakyat terhadap aspirasi masyarakat. Untuk itu ia berharap, tata niaga pertambangan timah di Bangka Belitung dapat berjalan dengan sebaik mungkin.
“Kehadiran kami ke sini ini ingin memberikan masukan dan Kami kepengen Babel ini maju dan rakyatnya sejahtera dengan harta karunnya Babel yakni timah,” ujar Politisi PDI-P ini.
Kabid GovRel PT Timah Tbk, IPutu Asre Ardana, mengatakan, menyampaikan bahwa pemberitaan permasalahan timah ini memang sangat santer, namun menurutnya pihak PT Timah akan selalu berusaha mencari solusi dan PT Timah sebagai BUMN dapat memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat.
“Terima kasih atas kedatangannya. nanti apa yang disampaikan tadi tentunya akan kami sampaikan ke pimpinan, ” ujarnya.
