Heryawandi Lanjutkan Reses di SMA Negeri 1 Tempilang, Tegaskan Konsistensi Program Kerja

BANGKA BARAT,PERKARANEWS – Sehari berselang setelah bertemu dengan para siswa siswi di Simpang Teritip, Pelaksana Tugas (Plt.) Wakil Ketua DPRD Provinsi Kep. Bangka Belitung, Heryawandi, bertolak ke SMA Negeri 1 Tempilang, masih dalam rangkaian acara reses Anggota DPRD Babel Masa Sidang 1 Tahun Sidang V, sekaligus mensosialiasikan program-program pemerintah provinsi untuk para pelajar, Kamis (16/11/2023).

Di hadapan para siswa, Heryawandi menjelaskan beberapa program pemerintah yang berasal dari APBD yang bisa digunakan oleh para pelajar jika nanti melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang berikutnya, seperti bansos pendidikan, bansos berprestasi yang diperoleh dari IPK tertinggi, bansos kerjasama dengan PTN atau PTS, beasiswa disabilitas yang khusus diberikan kepada masyarakat berkebutuhan khusus dan lebih banyak lagi. Lebih lanjut, ia juga menilai kualitas fasilitas pendidikan di Bangka Belitung sudah mulai meningkat, terbukti dengan bertambahnya fakultas-fakultas unggulan di beberapa universitas lokal di Bangka Belitung.

“Kita lihat UBB sekarang di tahun 2023 sudah menerima mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran, walaupun masih baru, setidaknya ini adalah langkah awal dalam peningkatan kualitas pendidikan para pelajar di daerah, paling tidak menekan biaya kuliah jika ingin kuliah kedokteran, tidak perlu jauh-jauh lagi,” ucapnya.

Di sesi tanya jawab, beberapa pertanyaan dilontarkan peserta reses terkait kondisi keseharian pelajar. Wakil Kesiswaan SMA Negeri 1 Tempilang, Ibu Yahya Hijriah, menanyakan prosedur pengajuan Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP), di sisi lain, ada yang sudah punya KIP namun belum aktif.

“Ada juga yang dulu saat survey KIP kuliah, calon penerima KIP kondisinya berkecukupan, namun saat ini kondisi keuangannya tidak baik,” tambahnya.

Menanggapi hal ini, Heryawandi mengingatkan urusan KIP ini adalah wewenang Dinas Pendidikan namun, terkait siswa yang kondisi keuangannya kurang tadi, ia menyarankan agar berkoordinasi dengan pemdes setempat.

“Keluarga yang bersangkutan bisa menemui Kepala Desa untuk membuat surat keterangan,” sarannya.

Di kesempatan yang sama, salah satu siswi menanyakan program baru dari Heryawandi jika nanti terpilih kembali menjadi Anggota DPRD periode 2024 – 2029.

“Dari awal saya fokus di bidang kesehatan, pendidikan dan infrastruktur, khususnya di Bangka Barat, jika nanti ada program baru lagi, biar menjadi program kami para anggota DPRD dapil Bangka Barat seluruhnya,” tegasnya. (Yuko)
