Tadi siang organisasi pergerakan mahasiswa islam indonesia (PMII)Pangkalpinang mendatangi gedung Dewan perwakilan rakyat daerah Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (DPRD Babel). Kamis,(30/3)
Dalam aksinya didepan kantor DPRD Babel PMII Pangkalpinang menyampaikan orasasinya. Sehubungan dengan terjadinya kegaduhan persoalan pengangkatan wakil rektor II IAIN Syakh Abdurrahman Sidik Bangka Belitung. Mengatakan Saudara Masmuni, yang diduga tidak sesuai dengan Statuta yang berlaku di IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung dan diduga terkesan main sulap
“Penunjukan wakil rektor II IAIN SAS Babel Saudara Masmuni Mahatma patut diduga terkesan “SIM SALABIM”,”ungkap Ketua PMII Pangkalpinang
Suwardian Ramadhan menyebutkan sehubungan dengan penolakan nama masjid IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung bernama Masjid Datuk Haji Romawi Latif diduga dinyatakan oleh saudara Masmuni wakil rektor II IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung.
“Saudara Masmuni bukanlah tokoh masyarakat bangka belitung, bukan
pejuang provinsi bangka belitung dan bukan atas permintaan masyarakat bangka belitung untuk menjadi wakil rektor II di IAIN SAS Babel,”tegasnya
Ketua PMII Pangkalpinang menegaskan nama masjid Datuk Haji Romawi Latif sangat wajar diberikan kepada beliau karena sudah banyak dilakukan untuk negeri ini dari masa perjuangan, pengasingan Sukarno-Hatta di Pulau Bangka hingga perjuangan pembentukan Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung ini

- Datuk haji romawi latif adalah pejuang berdirinya provinsi kepulauan Bangka Belitung
- Datuk haji romawi latif adalah salah satu pejuang kemerdekaan republik Indonesia,”tegas Suwardian
Oleh karena itu Pengurus Cabang Pergerakan Mahasiswa Islam Indonesia Kota Pangkalpinang meminta kepada DPRD Provinsi kepulauan Bangka Belitung memanggil Rektor IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung tersebut
“Kami minta mengganti saudara Masmuni yang diangkat menjadi wakil rektor II diduga tidak sesuai dengan Statuta IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung dan Wakil rektor II IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung Saudara Masmuni yang diduga menolak nama masjid kampus IAIN SAS Bernama masjid Datuk Haji Romawi Latif.
Menurut Suwardian Ramadhan saudara Masmuni Wakil Rektor II IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung untuk menjelaskan proses perpindahannya yang diduga tidak sesuai dengan Statuta IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung dari dosen UIN Sunan Gunung Jati Bandung, Tiba-tiba menjadi wakil rektor IAIN SAS Babel
“Meminta kepada Kapolda Kepulauan Bangka Belitung untuk memanggil wakil rektor II IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung saudara Masmuni, Apakah proses perpindahannya dari dosen menjadi Wakil rektor II apakah ada Indikasi Suap menyuap,”katanya
Selanjutnya PMII Pangkalpinang meminta kepada rektor IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung untuk segera memproses pergantian wakil
rektor II IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung sebagai wakil rektor II, jika memang melanggar Statuta IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung, Demi menjaga kedamaian di Provinsi kepulauan Bangka Belitung dan tidak menimbulkan kegaduhan.
“Kami berharap surat peryataan ini,kami buat dan sampaikan untuk ditindaklanjuti, oleh Ketua DPRD dan Kapolda Babel. Agar tidak terjadi kegaduhan dan aksi lebih besar lagi dari masyarakat Babel ,”tutupnya.
Awak media juga mencoba menghungi saudara Masmuni Mahatma untuk meminta klarifikasi apakah benar pernyataan yang telah disampaikan oleh PMII Pangkalpinang tersebut. Hingga berita ini diturunkan belum ada jawaban dan balasan darinya.(Yuko)
