PANGKALPINANG, BERITA-FAKTA.COM — Momentum Sumpah Pemuda ke-97 menjadi langkah nyata Yo’ Kawa Babel dalam menguatkan peran anak muda di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung melalui kegiatan Bakti Sosial Lingkungan “Asta Desa”. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di kawasan pemandian umum Air Isah, Kelurahan Air Itam, Kota Pangkalpinang dengan tujuan mewujudkan pembangunan berkelanjutan dan mendorong gerakan Iklim Inklusif bagi kelompok rentan.
Menurut Ragita Sahendra, selaku Koordinator Asta Desa, kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan di tingkat desa dan kelurahan, terutama dalam aspek pengelolaan lingkungan seperti sanitasi dan persampahan, Selasa (28/10/2025).
Ragita menegaskan bahwa kegiatan ini bukan hanya aksi bersih lingkungan, tetapi juga bentuk nyata kontribusi anak muda dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan.
“Melalui Asta Desa, kami ingin menumbuhkan kesadaran bahwa menjaga lingkungan adalah tanggung jawab bersama. Dari tempat sederhana seperti pemandian umum Air Isah ini, kita belajar bahwa perubahan besar berawal dari kepedulian kecil yang dilakukan bersama. Saya melihat semangat luar biasa dari para peserta, instansi terkait, dan seluruh elemen masyarakat yang terlibat mereka hadir bukan sekadar untuk bekerja bakti, tetapi untuk membangun harapan baru bagi lingkungan yang lebih bersih dan sehat. Ia berharap, Asta Desa dapat menjadi inspirasi bagi wilayah lain agar gerakan kolaboratif seperti ini terus berkembang. Ketika anak muda bersatu dan bergerak dengan hati, maka bukan hanya lingkungan yang kita jaga, tetapi juga nilai gotong royong dan kepedulian sosial yang akan tumbuh kuat di tengah masyarakat.”
Sementara itu, Firdaus, salah satu peserta kegiatan, mengungkapkan bahwa program Asta Desa memberikan pengalaman berharga bagi dirinya dan peserta lainnya.
“Selain melakukan kegiatan memilah sampah untuk menumbuhkan kepedulian lingkungan, kami juga mendapatkan banyak pengetahuan baru dan kesempatan bersosialisasi dengan masyarakat sekitar. Harapan saya, kegiatan seperti ini dapat terus dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan lebih banyak volunteer agar semakin banyak yang merasakan manfaatnya,” tuturnya.
Ketua Yo’ Kawa Babel, Orie Fachridho Hermawan, menjelaskan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan hasil inisiatif swadaya yang melibatkan seluruh stakeholder mulai dari warga sekitar, pelajar, hingga relawan yang tergabung dalam Yo’ Kawa Babel.
“Awalnya, tempat pemandian umum ini tampak mengkhawatirkan untuk digunakan mandi dan mencuci oleh masyarakat. Kini setelah gotong royong bersama, area tersebut menjadi lebih luas, airnya jernih, dan kembali dimanfaatkan masyarakat. Gerakan Yo’ Kawa Babel berupaya menjadi sahabat bagi masyarakat dengan menghadirkan program pengabdian berbasis kearifan lokal demi pembangunan yang berkelanjutan,” jelasnya.
Melalui kegiatan Asta Desa, Yo’ Kawa Babel menegaskan komitmennya untuk terus memberdayakan pemuda dan masyarakat lokal agar berperan aktif dalam menjaga lingkungan serta membangun masa depan yang berkelanjutan bagi Bangka Belitung. (Yuko)
