BANGKA, PERKARANEWS.COM – Berlatih tanpa henti akhirnya membuahkan hasil gemilang. Mahasiswa Program Studi Teknologi Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak (TRPL) Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bangka Belitung (Polman Babel) berhasil menjuarai Information Technology Competition (IT COMP) 2025 yang diselenggarakan Politeknik Negeri Samarinda secara daring, Rabu (29/10/2025).
Tim Polman Babel yang menamakan Techspirion AI, beranggotakan Monika, Raihan Adi Pratama, dan Vanessa Angelika, sukses menempati posisi juara 1 setelah melewati tahap seleksi ketat dan babak final melawan 10 tim dari berbagai perguruan tinggi.
Saat diwawancarai, Salah satu mahasiswa Monika menuturkan kemenangan ini menjadi buah dari kerja keras panjang. Sebenernya sudah mulai dari lama untuk desain aplikasi, persiapan video, dan komunikasi antar anggota walaupun sulit bertemu karena kesibukan masing-masing, tapi kami tetap semangat,” akuinya.
Selain itu, hasil ini mendapat dukungan dosen pembimbing sangat berarti dan luar biasa walau sempat pesimis karena sebelumnya belum pernah juara.
“Tapi dorongan dan support dosen pembimbing membuat untuk kembali semangat,” ungkapnya.
Berbeda dengan Vanessa Angelika menceritakan ketertarikannya pada dunia IT sudah muncul sejak SMA. Dari dulu memang suka dunia IT, jadi ketika dipercaya ikut lomba ini rasanya senang sekali. Apalagi bisa membawa nama baik kampus,” terangnya.
Masih ada poin penting lainnya belajar di Polman Babel memberikan banyak peluang dan tantangan menarik menjadi mahasiswa TRPL
“Bukan cuma belajar teori tapi juga dituntut untuk punya rasa penasaran tinggi, memahami sistem, dan siap berkompetisi,” tambahnya.
Di balik itu, kemenangan bukan hanya soal piala, tapi juga kerja sama tim yang paling penting pilih teman yang sefrekuensi karena setiap orang punya kelebihan dan kekurangan, jadi harus saling melengkapi dalam persiapan lomba,” ucapnya.
Dosen pembimbing mahasiswa tersebut, Riki Afriansyah, M.T., mengaku perjuangan panjang mahasiswa ini akhirnya terbayar lunas, selama ini senantiasa terus dampingi dan arahkan sampai hasilnya tidak sia-sia, mahasiswa bisa jadi juara” pungkasnya.
Lebih lanjut, Riki berpesan agar prestasi ini menjadi inspirasi bagi mahasiswa lain untuk mengikuti jejak para juara dan melahirkan bibit-bibit baru di masa mendatang karena tantangan saat ini adalah bagaimana menumbuhkan minat generasi Gen Z untuk aktif berkompetisi.
“Diperlukan ide-ide kreatif agar mereka semangat dan melihat bahwa kegiatan seperti ini bisa menjadi pengalaman seru dan berharga,” tutupnya. (Adv/Red5)
