PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS.COM – Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel) bergerak cepat menanggapi keresahan masyarakat terkait keberadaan PT Hutan Lestari Raya (HLR). Perusahaan pengelola Hutan Tanaman Industri (HTI) seluas 31 ribu hektare itu dipastikan akan dipanggil untuk audiensi pada Jumat, 8 Agustus 2025 mendatang.
Hal ini ditegaskan langsung oleh Ketua DPRD Babel, Didit Srigusjaya, usai menerima audiensi dari perwakilan masyarakat Kabupaten Bangka Selatan dan Asosiasi Petani Kelapa Sawit Indonesia (Apkasindo) Provinsi Babel, Senin (4/8/2025).
Dalam pertemuan tersebut, masyarakat menyoroti kontrak HTI PT HLR yang dinilai tidak masuk akal, yakni selama 60 tahun sejak 2017.
“Bayangkan 60 tahun diserahkan kepada HTI, sedangkan sebelumnya masyarakat di situ dari nenek moyang sudah berkebun. Sebelum ada HTI, masyarakat untuk penghidupannya menyekolahkan anaknya dari berkebun, tapi tiba-tiba ada HTI,” ujar Didit dengan nada geram.
Didit juga memastikan akan membawa aspirasi penolakan masyarakat terkait HTI ini ke Pemerintah Pusat. Pihaknya berencana mengajak perwakilan kepala desa dan Apkasindo untuk bertemu langsung dengan kementerian terkait guna mempertegas penolakan ini.
“Kalau nanti datanya sudah lengkap, maka akan didampingi setiap kabupaten lima Kades termasuk Apkasindo, kita minta ketemu dengan tim PKH pusat untuk menyampaikan keresahan masyarakat Bangka Belitung,” jelas Didit.
Langkah ini diambil DPRD sebagai bentuk komitmen untuk memperjuangkan hak-hak masyarakat yang merasa dirugikan oleh keberadaan HTI tersebut. Kontrak jangka panjang PT HLR dinilai telah mengancam mata pencaharian dan kelangsungan hidup para petani setempat yang telah turun-temurun mengelola lahan.(Yuko)
