BANGKA TENGAH – Satuan Reserse Kriminal (Sat Reskrim) Polres Bangka Tengah kembali menunjukkan komitmennya dalam memberantas aktivitas pertambangan ilegal yang meresahkan dan melanggar hukum. Pada Sabtu (15/2/2025), tim kepolisian berhasil mengamankan empat pelaku penambangan ilegal di areal Kolong Merbuk, eks PT Kobatin, yang telah dialihkan ke Wilayah Izin Usaha Pertambangan Khusus (WIUPK) PT Timah di Kecamatan Koba, Kabupaten Bangka Tengah.
Kapolres Bangka Tengah AKBP Pradana Aditya Nugraha melalui Kasi Humas IPTU Erwin Syahri menegaskan bahwa aktivitas pertambangan tanpa izin merupakan tindak pidana yang diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 3 Tahun 2020 tentang Perubahan atas Undang-Undang Nomor 4 Tahun 2009 tentang Pertambangan Mineral dan Batubara, yang dapat dikenakan sanksi pidana.
“Kami tidak akan ragu untuk menindak tegas pelaku penambangan ilegal, terutama di wilayah yang telah berulang kali diberikan imbauan dan dilakukan razia bersama. Langkah ini sebagai bentuk komitmen Polres Bangka Tengah dalam menjaga ketertiban dan menegakkan hukum di wilayah pertambangan,” tegas IPTU Erwin Syahri.
Penindakan ini bermula dari laporan pihak PT Timah kepada Polres Bangka Tengah sekira pukul 13.00 WIB, terkait adanya aktivitas penambangan ilegal di areal tersebut. Dua jam setelah menerima laporan, tim gabungan yang terdiri dari personel Polres Bangka Tengah dan pihak pengamanan PT Timah langsung bergerak menuju lokasi.
Setibanya di lokasi, petugas menemukan adanya aktivitas penambangan jenis rajuk gearbox dan manual. Saat itu, petugas berhasil mengamankan tiga orang yang sedang melakukan aktivitas tambang ilegal, yaitu:
* (SU) – pemilik tambang jenis rajuk gearbox.
* (AR) – pekerja tambang jenis rajuk manual.
* (ZK) – pekerja tambang jenis rajuk manual.
Dari hasil pemeriksaan awal terhadap ketiga pelaku, tim penyidik kemudian melakukan pengembangan dan berhasil mengamankan seorang pelaku lain berinisial (PUT), yang berperan sebagai pemberi izin atau pihak yang menyuruh aktivitas penambangan ilegal tersebut.
Keempat pelaku beserta barang bukti telah diamankan di Polres Bangka Tengah untuk proses penyidikan lebih lanjut. Dalam operasi ini, polisi turut menyita berbagai barang bukti yang digunakan dalam aktivitas pertambangan ilegal, di antaranya:
* Mesin tambang berbagai jenis
* Selang monitor dan spiral berbagai ukuran
* Pompa air dan pompa tanah
* Drum plastik untuk penampungan material tambang
* Berbagai lembar karpet tambang
* Alat pendukung lainnya seperti takal, cangkul, dan jerigen berisi bahan bakar
IPTU Erwin Syahri menambahkan bahwa Polres Bangka Tengah telah berulang kali melakukan imbauan dan razia terhadap penambangan ilegal di wilayah ini. Namun, masih ada oknum yang nekat melakukan aktivitas ilegal tersebut.
“Kami mengimbau masyarakat untuk tidak terlibat dalam aktivitas pertambangan ilegal. Selain melanggar hukum, aktivitas ini juga merusak lingkungan dan dapat membahayakan keselamatan para pekerja itu sendiri,” ujar IPTU Erwin
