SUNGAILIAT,PERKARANEWS — Transformasi ekonomi menjadi isu utama sebagaimana yang disampaikan Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Kep. Babel) Sugito, saat turut dalam podcast bersama Lembaga Penyiaran Publik (LPP) Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Sungailiat, yang disiarkan secara langsung, Rabu (19/2/2025).
Untuk menyukseskan hal itu, Kep. Babel dikatakan Sugito, sedang pada fase berbenah dengan mengoptimalisasikan potensi lain di luar pertambangan yang sudah menjadi sektor utama ekonomi daerah. Potensi-potensi itu ada pada sektor seperti perikanan, kelautan, pertanian, perkebunan, pariwisata, dan ekonomi kreatif.
“Bangka Belitung sedang berbenah untuk menyukseskan transformasi ekonomi. Selain potensi kita di pertambangan, kita juga ingin mendorong sektor lain yang belum tergarap dengan baik. Ini harus kita persiapkan dari sekarang untuk mengoptimalkan potensi tadi,” ujarnya.
Transformasi ekonomi yang dihadapi Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Kep. Babel disebutkannya berkenan dengan swasembada pangan, makan bergizi gratis (MBG), dan swasembada energi yang menjadi program besar Pemerintah Pusat di bawah kepemimpinan Presiden Prabowo Subianto.
“Ketika ini bisa kita sinergikan antara pemerintah, mitra, dan masyarakat, kemudian mengoptimalkan peran kita bersama, Insyaallah akan dahsyat. Bagi pemerintah untuk terus menyuarakan berbagai kebijakan, program, dan sekaligus sebagai control sosial,” katanya.
Untuk itu, LPP RRI Sungailiat sebagai mitra penyiaran pemerintah, dianggap Sugito memiliki peran tersendiri dalam menyebarluaskan setiap informasi perkembangan upaya pemerintah, khususnya di Kep. Babel dalam menyukseskan transformasi ekonomi. Dengan perannya, diharapkan dapat mengubah mindset, bahwa Kep. Babel mampu mengatasi masalahnya sendiri.
“Saya berharap RRI ikut berkontribusi menyampaikan perkembangan yang ada, dan praktiknya bisa diinformasikan ke masyarakat. Jangan gamang untuk berubah, jangan takut melakukan perubahan, karena sejatinya ketika kita mau berubah, kita akan mendapatkan hasilnya. Ayo kita kembangkan bersama,” pungkasnya.(Yuko)
