Pencuri Kabel Sekolah Beraksi di 9 TKP Pangkalpinang, Diduga Konsumsi Sabu

PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS– Seorang pria berinisial HS (39) berhasil diringkus Tim Naga Satreskrim Polresta Pangkalpinang atas dugaan pencurian kabel di sejumlah sekolah di wilayah Kota Pangkalpinang.

Pelaku yang merupakan mantan buruh pasang baja ringan ini nekat mencuri kabel instalasi listrik untuk dijual dan digunakan membeli narkoba.

Kasatreskrim Polresta Pangkalpinang, AKP Riza Rahman, mengungkapkan kronologi penangkapan HS. “Pelaku berhasil kita tangkap di daerah Semabung Lama setelah mendapatkan informasi dari masyarakat. Saat diinterogasi, HS mengakui semua perbuatannya,” ujar Riza, Senin (6/1/2025).


Modus operandi HS cukup rapi. Ia biasanya memanjat tembok sekolah, merusak plafon, lalu menarik kabel instalasi listrik.

Hasil curiannya berupa kabel tembaga kemudian dijual untuk membeli sabu dan memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari.


“HS telah beraksi di 9 TKP yang berbeda, di antaranya SMP Negeri 8, SMP Negeri 3, SD Negeri 19, SD Negeri 20, SD Negeri 12, SMA PGRI, SD Negeri 21, SD Negeri 9, dan SD Santa Paulus,” ungkap Riza.

Atas perbuatannya, HS dijerat dengan pasal pencurian dengan pemberatan. Polisi turut mengamankan sejumlah barang bukti, di antaranya pakaian yang digunakan pelaku saat beraksi, kabel tembaga hasil curian, serta alat-alat yang digunakan untuk melakukan pencurian.

Kasus pencurian kabel di sekolah ini menjadi perhatian serius pihak kepolisian. Masyarakat diimbau untuk meningkatkan kewaspadaan dan segera melaporkan jika melihat adanya aktivitas mencurigakan di sekitar sekolah.(Yuko)
