PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Kantor Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Bangka Tengah tampak ramai dengan hadirnya para siswa SMP yang menjadi peserta lomba Festival Merdeka Belajar didampingi guru masing-masing.
Kegiatan ini dibuat dengan merangkai tiga lomba yang akan mengukur sejauh mana kemampuan siswa tingkat SMP di Bangka Tengah. Lomba tersebut yakni lomba Reels Kreasi Gerakan Sekolah Sehat, lomba Ilustrasi dan Infografik Anti Kekerasan di Sekolah, dan Clash of Students/LCC.
Untuk lomba Reels Kreasi Gerakan Sekolah Sehat telah dilaksanakan sejak 1 – 20 November lalu. Sedangkan hari ini, Selasa (26/11/2024) menjadi ajang penilaian lomba reels, sekaligus digelarnya lomba membuat Ilustrasi dan Infografik Pencegahan dan Penanganan Kekerasan di Satuan Pendidikan.
Sementara itu lomba Clash of Students akan digelar di BPMP Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung pada Kamis (28/11/2024) mendatang sekaligus pengumuman pemenang seluruh kategori lomba.
Pangihutan Sihombing selaku Plt. Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Bangka Tengah menyatakan bahwa tujuan diadakannya Festival Merdeka Belajar ini salah satunya untuk memotivasi satuan pendidikan dalam mengimplementasikan dan mengembangkan gerakan sekolah sehat, gerakan anti kekerasan, dan Rapor Pendidikan Bangka Tengah.
“Selain itu, kegiatan ini menjadi salah satu cara menggali potensi siswa di mana siswa yang menjadi peserta ini harapannya bisa memberikan dampak baik ke lingkungan pertemanannya. Bisa memotivasi dan memacu minta teman-temannya di bidang desain grafis, videografi, maupun motivasi akademis,” terang Sihombing.
Ia juga menekankan bahwa pendidikan di zaman sekarang ini harus berkembang mengikuti kemajuan teknologi dan pengetahuan.
“Kita tidak bisa diam dan mengikuti cara lama. Kita harus mengikuti arah kemajuan teknologi dalam kegiatan sehari-hari, terlebih dalam praktik pendidikan. Perkara menang atau kalah itu biasa, yang penting kita memberi wadah siswa untuk mencoba dan mengekspresikan diri,” pesannya.
Lebih lanjut Sihombing menjelaskan bahwa lomba Reels Kreasi Gerakan Sekolah Sehat merupakan tindak lanjut Program Kemendikbudristek untuk memberikan apresiasi kepada satuan pendidikan yang telah melakukan aktivasi atau mengimplementasikan 5 sehat. Tercatat 30 peserta berasal dari 30 SMP di Bangka Tengah yang masing-masing membuat 3 video pendek.
Sementara itu, lomba Ilustrasi dan Infografik Anti Kekerasan di Sekolah bertujuan menggerakkan seluruh civitas akademika di satuan pendidikan untuk dapat bekerja sama menyerukan gerakan anti kekerasan di lingkungan sekolah. Peserta lomba ini berjumlah 27 siswa dari 27 SMP di Bangka Tengah, di mana masing-masing siswa membuat 1 ilustrasi dan 1 infografik.
