PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Pemerintah Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Pemprov. Kep. Babel) menyiapkan langkah untuk mengembangkan potensi dan keunggulan tiap desa dalam upaya meningkatkan pertumbuhan kesejahteraan desa yang ada di provinsi tersebut.
Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Kep. Babel Sugito mengatakan terdapat 309 desa dan 84 kelurahan yang tersebar di seluruh wilayah Babel. Dari data tersebut dapat dijabarkan bahwa 78 persen atau mayoritas wilayah Babel berada di desa.
“Namun saya melihat terdapat potensi pengembangan desa yang belum tergarap maksimal,” ungkapnya pada Talkshow dengan Harian Bangka Pos dengan tema Kontribusi Desa Meningkatkan Ekonomi Bangka Belitung di Kantor Bangka Pos, Jumat (11/10).
Menurutnya, terdapat 4 indikator yang menandakan desa itu maju, yakni kedaulatan secara politik, berdaya secara ekonomi, berkekuatan secara sosial, dan bermartabat secara budaya.
Namun, hingga kini terdapat bearagam tantangan yang masih harus dihadapi, utamanya belum sejalannya antara kebijakan pemerintah provinsi hingga ke tingkat desa. Hal itu disebabkan minimnya pendampingan dan advokasi guna membentuk klasterisasi desa berdasarkan potensi yang dimiliki.
“Misalnya bagaimana mengembangkan desa wisata berkelanjutan yang mengandalkan kelestarian alam sebagai konsep sustainable tourism yang ditawarkan kepada wisatawan,” ujarnya.
Selain itu, Ia juga menjelaskan bahwa dirinya belum lama ini telah meluncurkan program Ketahanan Pangan Bergerak Bersama (Ketapang Bergema) guna menekan ketergantungan pasokan pangan dari luar daerah. Hal tersebut bisa dioptimalkan di tiap desa karena menurut aturan, dana desa itu memang ditujukan untuk ketahanan pangan sebanyak 20%.
“Artinya tiap desa memiliki potensi, apakah itu pariwisata, perikanan, peternakan, atau perkebunan. Tiap potensi tersebut harus dioptimalkan pemanfaatannya,” terangnya.
Apabila klasterisasi potensi desa berhasil dilaksanakan, diharapkan akan tercipta lapangan usaha baru di level desa. Ini pastinya akan berdampak positif dalam menyerap tenaga kerja di daerah tersebut, sehingga perekonomian desa bisa tumbuh dan berkembang.(Yuko)
