PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS–Masih dalam nuansa perayaan HUT ke-48 PT Timah dan menyambut HUT ke-79 RI, PT Timah menggelar liga persahabatan ‘Fun Football Veteran U-40 2024 yang dilaksanakan di lapangan bola Bina Jaya, Mentok, Bangka Barat, Kamis (8/8/2024) sore.
Liga persahabatan diikuti lima tim dari kesebelasan yang berada di sekitar wilayah operasional perusahaaan, yaitu Old Star Belo Laut, Veteran Air Limau,Kemang Masam FootballClub, Veteran Muntok FC, dan PT Timah diwakili Tim Metalurgi Club (TMC).
Kepala Divisi Pengolahan dan Peleburan PT Timah Sofian Simangunsong membuka langsung pertandingan persahabatan. Dalam kesempatan ini dirinya berpesan untuk menjunjung tinggi sportivitas.
Kapten Tim Old Star belo Laut Febri Harto menyampaikan apresiasinya kepada PT Timah yang telah merangkul masyarakat dengan pertandingan olahraga.
“Walaupum ini hanya pertandingan persahabatan untuk usia 40, tapi kami sangat senang PT Timah mengadakan Liga sepakbola ini. Pertandingan sepakbola bukti bahwa PT Timah dekat dengan masyarakat,” katanya.
Febri berharap kedepan LIGA Fun Fo otball Veteran U-40 2024 bertambah meriah, dan ada penambahan peserta.
“Mudah-mudahan Liga Pertandingan Sepakbola ini tetap dipertahankan, dan tambah meriah, ditambah lagi pesertanya. Jadi lebih banyak penontonnya, jad tambah ramai,” harapnya.
Sementara itu, Bupati Bangka BaratSukirman mengapresiasi kegiatan Liga “Fun Football Veteran U-40 2024” yang dilaksanakan PT Timah karena bisa memberikan hiburan bagi masyarakat.
“Kami mengapresiasi PT Timah telah melaksanakan pertandingan liga sepakbola ini. Daerah terasa hidup, bila ada kegiatan dan aktifitas masyarakat, karena ada hiburan yang ditonton. Harapan kami PT Timah juga dapat menggelar kegiatan bidang lainnya, seperti kegiatan seni, bazar UMKM dan lainnya ,”harapnya.(Yuko)
