Melalui program Pendanaan Usaha Mikro Kecil (PUMK) PT Timah konsisten mendorong pengembangan UMKM di wilayah operasional perusahaan. Program PUMK PT Timah mendorong pelaku UMKM dari berbagai sektor.
Anggota Holding Industri Pertambangan MIND ID, PT Timah memfasilitasi para pelaku UMKM dalam berbagai sektor seperti perdagangan, jasa, pertanian, perikanan, ekonomi kreatif, peternakan dan properti untuk mendapatkan akses permodalan.
Dimulai sejak tahun 2000, Program PUMK PT Timah telah mendukung perkembangan ribuan pelaku UMKM di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau dan Nasional.
Program PUMK membantu pengembangan UMKM secara terintegrasi mulai dari permodalan, pelatihan dan pembinaan, pemasaran produk UMKM. Hal ini sebagai langkah perusahaan untuk membina para pelaku UMKM di wilayah operasional perusahaan.
Keterlibatan PT Timah dalam meningkatkan kapasitas UMKM, memungkinkan mereka untuk tumbuh dan bersaing secara lebih efektif. Pada tahun 2023 lalu sebanyak 22 mitra binaan PT Timah yang naik kelas.
PT Timah juga mendorong peningkatan kapablitas mitra binaannya, melalui workshop, pelatihan, dan mentorship sehingga UMKM dapat memahami praktik-praktik terbaik dalam manajemen bisnis, keuangan, dan pemasaran.
Banyak pelaku UMKM yang telah merasakan manfaat dari PUMK PT Timah yang berdampak pada pengembangan usaha mereka. Bahkan bisa mengembangkan dan menambah tenaga kerja.
Seperti yang diungkapkan Rizal warga Rintis Gang Kemiri Selat Panjang, Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti, Provinsi Riau yang bisa mengembangkan usaha jasa penatu (laundry) dengan memanfaatkan modal dari program PUMK PT Timah.
“Syukur Alhamdullillah dengan pinjaman modal dari PT Timah kami bisa membuka cabang usaha laundry di tempat lain. Sehingga kami bisa menambah pelanggan dan juga pengembangan usaha,” ucapnya.
Sama halnya yang dirasakan dengan Siti Nurhasanah, warga Kota Pangkalpinang yang mengatakan berkat dukungan program PUMK PT Timah dirinya bisa merampungkan pembangunan usaha rumah kontrakannya.
“Dengan pinjaman modal dari Program PUMK PT Timah, saya juga bisa menyelesaikan pembangunan rumah kontrakan. Semoga ini bisa berlanjut karena akan memudahkan para pelaku usaha lainnya untuk mengembangkan usaha mereka,” ucapnya.
Program PUMK PT Timah Tbk telah membantu Iyan Wahyudi (50) dalam mengembangkan usaha pertanian sayur dan memulai usaha ternak ayam potongnya. Ia bahkan kini bisa menjadi pemasok ayam potong untuk industri rumahan.
“Saya awalnya pinjam modal untuk mengembangkan usaha pertanian sayur. Alhamdullillah setelah mendapatkan suntikan dana dari PT Timah Tbk usaha berkembang dengan pesat. Termasuk mengembangkan usaha baru peternakan ayam,” ceritanya.
Di Pulau Belitung, program PUMK PT Timah juga dirasakan oleh Ira Afriliana, yang bisa membangkitkan usahanya dengan dukungan permodalan dari PT Timah.
Sebagai perajin batik, Ia berharap PT Timah Tbk dapat terus membantu para UMKM seperti dirinya untuk mengembangkan usaha mereka.
“Kami berharap PT Timah Tbk rutin mengadakan event di Belitung Timur, karena banyak memberikan dampak positif untuk UMKM,” katanya.
