PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Siswa kelas 8 SMP Negeri 2 Pangkalpinang mengadakan gelar karya Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5), Selasa (26/9/2023) di halaman sekolah setempat.
Kepala SMP Negeri 2 Pangkalpinang, Herlina mengatakan kegiatan P5 ini merupakan bagian dari kurikulum merdeka. Proyek ini dikerjakan oleh siswa kelas 8 sejak 11 September hingga 2 Oktober mendatang. Tujuannya untuk membentuk karakter siswa, bukan hanya menerima pembelajaran kognitif, tapi dengan karakter ini lah yang akan membekali siswa menghadapi tantang ke depan.
“Profil pelajar Pancasila ini juga diterapkan di pembelajaran sehari-hari lalu dikuatkan dalam proyek. Proyek ini mengusung tema bangunlah jiwa dan raganya. Dimensinya mengusung karakter mandiri dan gotong royong,” jelas Herlina.
Lanjutnya, dalam P5 ini siswa membentuk proyek pembuatan film pendek. Herlina menyebut, siswa-siswi ini melakukan observasi dan melihat permasalahan yang ada di lingkungan sekitarnya, kemudian menemukan solusi dan dibuatlah dalam bentuk film pendek. Film pendek yang dihasilkan sebanyak 30 film dengan permasalahan yang berbeda-beda.
“Kita harus yakin profil pelajar Pancasila ini mampu mengembangkan minat dan bakat anak, serta memunculkan karakter sesuai tema yang diusung. Saya mengapresiasi seluruh guru kelas 8, paguyuban orang tua siswa yang juga sudah mendukung,” tutup Herlina.
