Kegiatan dibuka langsung oleh Sekretaris Daerah Kota Pangkalpinang, Mie Go.
Dalam sambutannya, Mie Go menekankan bahwa pengamanan informasi begitu penting, mengingat informasi menjadi aset dan sumber daya penting bagi instansi.
“Pengamanan informasi ini menjadi kebutuhan yang sangat vital mengingat informasi menjadi sumber daya dan aset penting bagi suatu instansi, ” ujarnya.
Mie Go menyebut bahwa dengan perkembangan teknologi terintegrasi melalui berbagi perangkat saat ini menyebabkan banyak data dan informasi terdistribusi melalui jaringan internet.
Kondisi ini lah yang menjadi rentan terhadap akses bagi pihak yang tidak memiliki kewenangan dan kepentingan.
Sehingga bagi Mie Go pentingnya pengamanan untuk mencegah agar informasi dan segala bentuk yang bersifat rahasia tidak bocor keluar.
“Untuk itu perlu suatu mekanisme dalam mengamankan informasi, baik yang disimpan maupun ditansmisikan dalam berbagai aplikasi, ” ungkapnya.
