BANGKA BARAT,Perkaranews.com – Untuk mendukung pendidikan karakter di lingkungan sekolah, PT Timah Tbk ikut mendukung kegiatan Gema Ramadhan yang dilaksanakan OSIS dan Rohani Islam (Rohis) SMAN 1 Simpang Teritip.
Gema Ramadhan tahun ini melaksanakan beberapa kegiatan seperti Infaq, bakti sosial, membersihkan tempat ibadah di tempat tinggal siswa masing-masing, pembagian takjil, pembagian sembako kepada masyarakat dan siswa siswi dan buka puasa bersama.
Guna mendukung kegiatan ini, PT Timah Tbk memberikan santunan dana dan sembako yang nantinya akan didistribusikan bagi masyarakat yang membutuhkan.
Ketua Pelaksana sekaligus Ketua Osis SMA Negeri Simpang Teritip Melky Mayfarel mengatakan, kegiatan Gema Ramadhan merupakan agenda tahunan yang dilaksanakan OSIS dan Rohis yang bertujuan untuk memupuk silahtuhturahmi serta membantu sesama.
“Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama tiga hari, bertujuan menanamkan nilai religius kepada siswa, memupuk silahturahmi serta membantu sesama saudara muslim,” jelas Melky disela-sela kegiatan, Senin (17/4/2023).
Ia bersyukur tahun ini, PT Timah Tbk dapat berpartisipasi mendukung kegiatan Gema Ramadhan yang mereka laksanakan.
“Alhamdulillah tahun ini, Gema Ramadhan di suport PT Timah Tbk, Selaku panitia kami mengucapkan terima kasih, harapan kami PT Timah Tbk bertambah maju dan bermanfaat buat masyarakat,” terangnya.
Pembina Rohani Islam SMA Negeri Simpang Teritip Armin berharap dengan kegiatan Gema Ramadhan Siswa diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kepedulian siswa kepada lingkungan sekitar.
“Dengan kegiatan Gema Ramadhan diharapkan siswa dapat bersosialisasi dan peduli dengan lingkungan sekitarnya, melalui kegiatan-kegiatan ibadah bernuansa Ramadhan,”ungkapnya.
Sementara itu, Kepala Sekolah SMA Simpang Teritip Agus Risnan Jaya menyampaikan apreasiasi kepada PT Timah Tbk yang mendukung program di sekolah yang dipimpinnya.
“Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk membina karakter siswa, sesuai harapan kurikulum terbentuknya profil pelajar Pancasila, tahun ini ada peningkatan ibadah mereka, menjadi orang yang lebih baik lagi,” tandasnya. (R5/RLS)
