PT Timah Tbk Serahkan Keberhasilan Rehabilitasi DAS ke Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan, Tingkat Keberhasilan Penanaman DAS 89,9 Persen

Jakarta,Perkaranews.com – PT Timah Tbk selaku pemegang Izin Pinjam Pakai Kawasan Hutan (IPPKH) menyerahkan hasil penanaman rehabilitasi Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) di DAS Tuing, Desa Mapur, Kecamatan Riau Silip, Kabupaten Bangka.

Penyerahan rehabilitas DAS dilaksanakan General Manager PT Timah Tbk Ahmad Syamhadi kepada Direktur Jenderal Pengelolaan DAS dan Rehabilitasi Hutan Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Dyah Murtiningsih di Gedung Manggala Wanabakti, Selasa (28/2/2023).

PT Timah Tbk melakukan penanaman pohon untuk rehabilitasi DAS seluas 197,7 hektar dengan nilai keberhasilan 89,95 persen. Adapun jenis tanaman yang ditanam seperti pelawan, gelam, jambu mente, ketapang, cemara laut dan mangga.

Tingkat keberhasilan penanaman DAS 89,9 persen dinilai sangat baik. Pasal 70 ayat 3 huruf b Permen LHK Nomor P.59/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/10/2019 tentang Tata Cara Pelaksanaan, Kegiatan Pendukung, Pemberian Insentif, serta Pembinaan dan Pengendalian Kegiatan Rehabilitasi Hutan dan Lahan, menyatakan bahwa keberhasilan tumbuh tanaman paling sedikit 75 persen dari penanaman awal dinilai sangat bagus.

Keberhasilan penanaman dalam rangka kewajiban rehabilitasi DAS ini dievaluasi secara terpadu oleh tim penilai yang terdiri dari unsur Balai Pengendalian DAS dan Hutan Lindung, Dinas Provinsi yang membidangi Kehutanan, dan pemangku/pengelola kawasan.

Anggota Holding Pertambangan Indonesia MIND ID ini dinyatakan memenuhi kriteria keberhasilan tanaman. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi penanaman, pemeliharaan dan penyulaman tanaman.

Dalam melaksanakan rehabilitasi DAS, PT Timah Tbk juga melibatkan dan melakukan pemberdayaan masyarakat sekitar, sehingga bisa memberikan dampak ekonomi.

Direktur Jenderal Pengelolaan DAS dan Rehabilitasi Hutan Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Dyah Murtiningsih mengatakan, rehabilitas DAS merupakan kewajiban bagi pemilik IPPKH.

Ia melanjutkan rehabilitasi DAS merupakan upaya untuk menjaga ekosistem hutan. Selain itu untuk mendukung target Pemerintah dalam menurunkan emisi gas rumah kaca dan menuju Net Zero Emission di 2060.

“Kegiatan rehabilitasi kata dia tidak hanya untuk keperluan ekologi tapi juga harus seimbang fungsi ekologi memulihkan kawasan dan eksositem hutan tapi juga memberikan manfaat ekonomi bagi masyarakat di kawasan hutan,” katanya.

Ia juga mengapresiasi para pemegang IPPKH yang telah melaksanakan kewajibannya dalam melakukan rehabilitasi DAS. Kedepan, Ia berharap hutan yang telah ditanami ini dapat dijaga bersama-sama.

“Terima masih sudah melaksanakan kewajiban dan masih ada beberapa perusahaan yang masih belum menyelesaikan kewajibannya. Hutan lestari, ekosistem kembali lagi dan masyarakat di sekitar hutan juga happy karena ikut dilibatkan dan memberikan dampak ekonomi bagi masyarakat,” tandasnya. (R5/RLS)
