Bateng, PerkaraNews.com – Tingkatkan kegemaran membaca dan literasi, siswa siswi Sekolah Dasar di Kelurahan Koba mengikuti kegiatan Bulan Kunjungan Perpustakaan yang digelar oleh Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Bangka Tengah, di Perpustakaan Daerah Selawang Segantang, Kabupaten Bangka Tengah (Bateng), Selasa (31/1/2023).
Kegiatan tersebut merupakan salah satu upaya dalam membentuk karakter anak-anak agar tumbuh cerdas melalui metode pembelajaran bercerita dan mendongeng.
Hal tersebut diungkapkan Bunda PAUD Kabupaten Bateng, drg. Eva Algafry saat ditemui usai acara tersebut dilakukan.
“Bentuk kegiatan ini untuk mengenalkan literasi pada anak-anak kita. Tadi bisa kita lihat antusiasme mereka dengan adanya Kampung Dongeng (Kado). Ini sebuah pembelajaran, untuk melatih karakter agar menjadi anak yang cerdas dan berakhlak mulia,” terangnya.
Menurutnya, kegiatan ini adalah suatu langkah atau cara yang cukup efektif dalam memberikan suatu pembelajaran kepada anak-anak yang bertujuan agar minat baca pada anak-anak meningkat.
“Kita berharap melalui cerita-cerita itu bisa menumbuhkan etika dan akhlak anak-anak menjadi baik. Anak-anak sekarang sangat perlu diberikan edukasi,” ungkap Eva.
Dalam hal ini, Ia memberikan apresiasi kepada dinas terkait (Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan-red) telah dilaksanakan kegiatan edukasi pada anak-anak. Ia berharap kedepannya terus diadakan guna mewujudkan anak-anak sebagai generasi penerus menjadi generasi yang cerdas dan berkualitas.
“Kita memberikan apresiasi kepada DKP telah melaksanakan kegiatan seperti ini dengan mengundang anak-anak dengan memberikan pembelajaran melalui mendongeng. Kita berharap akan ada kegiatan lainnya yang melibatkan anak-anak,” tambah Eva. (R5/RLS)
