Diminta Tetap Jaga Kekompakan, Pengurus URC Driver Online Pangkalpinang Dikukuhkan Molen

Pangkalpinang, PerkaraNews.com – Wali Kota Pangkalpinang Maulan Aklil (Molen) mengukuhkan Pengurus Unit Reaksi Cepat (URC) Driver Online Pangkalpinang, di Ruang OR Kantor Wali Pangkalpinang, Selasa (27/12/2022).

Molen sebagai pembina URC mengaku takjub dengan komunitas ini yang begitu kompak sampai membentuk acara pengukuhan ini.

“Saya takjub dengan apa yang dilakukan hari ini. Selama keliling Sumatera Selatan, Jawa, baru kali ini ada kelompok URC yang begitu kompak,” puji Molen.

Dia berujar, driver online adalah sebuah profesi yang terhormat. Banyak keluarga yang menggantungkan ekonominya dari pekerjaan ini. Mata rantai ini, kata Molen harus dihormati dan hargai.

Molen menyebut, tugasnya kini menjaga agar iklim investasi di Pangkalpinang tetap kondusif. Dia berharap URC tetap menjaga kekompakannya.

Ketua Umum URC Pangkalpinang Revi Setiawan menuturkan, membentuk kelompok ini penuh dengan hambatan dan tantangan. Namun akhirnya tetap berdiri dan semakin banyak anggota. URC dibentuk oleh sembilan orang pada 19 Desember 2019 dengan jumlah anggota 157 dari 12 komunitas.

Sekarang anggota sudah bertambah menjadi 375 driver terdiri dari 19 komunitas, 17 komunitas driver roda dua dan dua komunitas driver roda empat.

“Kami juga membangkitkan gairah kawan-kawan driver ini dengan mengadakan kontes driver pada 26 November. Dan yang harus kami banggakan, hanya Wali Kota Pangkalpinang yang memperjuangkan kawan-kawan driver pada saat Covid-19 dengan memberikan bantuan dan Pangkalpinang satu-satunya yang mengakomodir bantuan BLT,” tutur Revi.(R5/RLS)
