BANGKA, PERKARANEWS.COM – Tim Berbasis Riset dan Teknologi Aplikasi (BESTARI) Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bangka Belitung (Polman Babel) melakukan kunjungan ke kantor Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan (Disparbud) Kabupaten Bangka pada Senin (10/11/2025). Kunjungan tersebut dihadiri oleh sejumlah dosen Polman Babel, di antaranya Firdaus, M.Kom., Muhammad Iqbal, M.Eng., Ilham Nur Dimas Yahya, M.T., Mildazani, M.Ak., Laras Niti Mulyani, M.T.I., serta PLP Rifki Pramulia Adha, S.TP., dan Furqon, A.Md.T.
Dalam pertemuan tersebut, tim Polman Babel disambut hangat oleh jajaran pegawai Disparbud Bangka. Pertemuan ini menjadi langkah awal kolaborasi antara dunia akademisi vokasi dan pemerintah daerah dalam memperkuat potensi pariwisata lokal melalui penerapan riset dan teknologi. Kolaborasi ini diharapkan mampu menghadirkan solusi inovatif yang mendorong kemajuan sektor pariwisata di Kabupaten Bangka.
Ketua Tim BESTARI, Firdaus, M.Kom., menjelaskan bahwa pihaknya tengah menyiapkan program bertajuk Eco Tourism Smart Hub, sebuah inisiatif berbasis teknologi digital untuk mendukung transformasi desa wisata di Bangka Belitung. Program ini dirancang sebagai wadah digital terpadu yang menghubungkan potensi wisata, produk UMKM, dan layanan masyarakat desa wisata.
“Kami ingin memperkuat sinergi antara dunia pendidikan dan pemerintah daerah setempat agar teknologi dapat menjadi penggerak kemajuan sektor pariwisata,” ujarnya.
Lebih lanjut, Firdaus menuturkan bahwa ide tersebut lahir dari semangat kampus vokasi untuk menghadirkan solusi bagi masyarakat melalui inovasi teknologi yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan. Ia menilai, sektor pariwisata memiliki potensi besar untuk menjadi penggerak ekonomi daerah jika dikelola dengan pendekatan modern.
“Pegawai Disparbud Bangka juga sangat positif menyambut gagasan ini. Mereka menilai kolaborasi semacam ini bisa menjadi langkah konkret untuk membawa desa wisata naik kelas,” tambahnya.
Pertemuan tersebut menghasilkan kesepakatan awal untuk menindaklanjuti diskusi melalui penyusunan rencana aksi bersama, termasuk pelatihan digitalisasi wisata dan pengembangan aplikasi pendukung promosi pariwisata.
