BANGKA, PERKARANEWS.COM – Perwakilan Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bangka Belitung (Polman Babel) menghadiri kegiatan Rapat Kerja Wilayah (Rakerwil) Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Seluruh Indonesia (BEM SI) Wilayah Sumatera Bagian Selatan (Sumbagsel) yang berlangsung di Universitas PGRI Palembang, Sumatera Selatan, 28–30 Oktober 2025.
Kegiatan yang digelar di Gedung Guru Universitas PGRI ini dihadiri oleh seluruh Presiden Mahasiswa dari berbagai perguruan tinggi se-Sumbagsel. Acara dibuka dengan semangat kebersamaan untuk memperkuat kolaborasi antar kampus dalam mengembangkan potensi mahasiswa di wilayah Sumatera bagian selatan.
Ketua BEM Polman Babel Yuda saat diwawancarai, Jumat (31/10/2025) setelah tiba kembali di Bangka mengungkapkan kegiatan tersebut memberikan banyak pengalaman berharga, terutama saat sesi materi berlangsung. Dalam sesi materi, mendapatkan pemaparan tentang Inovasi dan Teknologi Ramah Lingkungan untuk Mendukung Pengelolaan Minerba Berkelanjutan,” terangnya.
Menurut Yuda, materi tersebut sangat membuka wawasan para peserta, khususnya tentang bagaimana penerapan teknologi dapat membantu pengelolaan sumber daya mineral dan batubara (minerba) secara aman, efisien, dan berkelanjutan.
“Materi yang membuka wawasan tentang bagaimana teknologi bisa berperan penting dalam menciptakan industri yang lebih ramah lingkungan,” sebutnya.
Usai sesi materi, kegiatan berlanjut dengan pembahasan program kerja BEM SI untuk periode mendatang. Dalam forum ini, para peserta membahas berbagai rencana strategis, mulai dari penguatan jaringan kerja antar kampus hingga peningkatan kontribusi mahasiswa dalam isu-isu sosial dan lingkungan di wilayah Sumbagsel,” tuturnya.
Selain rapat kerja, panitia juga mengadakan field trip ke Pulau Kemaro sebagai bentuk pengenalan budaya lokal seketika untuk mempererat hubungan antar peserta dari berbagai daerah,” katanya.
Selanjutnya, melalui kegiatan Rakerwil, Yuda mengaku mendapatkan banyak ilmu, inspirasi, serta pandangan baru yang dapat diterapkan di lingkungan organisasi kampusnya.
“Hal-hal yang saya dapatkan akan saya bagikan kepada seluruh anggota BEM Polman Babel sebagai bahan diskusi dan pengembangan program bersama,” jelasnya.
Di akhir wawancara, Yuda menyampaikan terimakasih dengan pihak tuan rumah atas penyelenggaraan kegiatan yang hangat dan penuh semangat kolaborasi. terhadap panitia dan rekan-rekan BEM SI Sumbagsel yang telah menyambut dengan baik.
