JAKARTA, PERKARANEWS.COM — Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel) kembali menorehkan prestasi di tingkat nasional. Pada peringatan Hari Sumpah Pemuda (HSP) ke-97 Tahun 2025, Kementerian Pemuda dan Olahraga Republik Indonesia (Kemenpora RI) menganugerahkan Penghargaan Wirasena 2025 kepada Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Babel, atas capaian kenaikan Indeks Pembangunan Pemuda (IPP) Tahun 2024 yang menempatkan Babel di peringkat ke-9 tertinggi secara nasional.
Penghargaan Wirasena, yang berarti “berani”, diberikan kepada pemerintah daerah dengan IPP tertinggi dan peningkatan IPP terbaik.
Gubernur Babel Hidayat Arsani yang diwakili Kepala Dinas Pariwisata, Kebudayaan, Kepemudaan, dan Olahraga (Disparbudkepora) Babel, Widya Kemala Sari, menerima penghargaan Wirasena Tahun 2025 yang diserahkan langsung oleh Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga (Menpora) Erick Thohir dalam acara Puncak Peringatan HSP ke-97 di Gelora Bung Karno Jakarta, Senin (28/10/2025).
“Apresiasi ini bentuk penghormatan kepada pemerintah daerah. Era sekarang bukan lagi kerja sendiri-sendiri, tapi kolaborasi. Karena itu, kami meluncurkan penghargaan Wirasena sebagai simbol keberanian membangun pemuda,” ujar Menpora.
Menpora menegaskan, penghargaan ini menjadi simbol kuatnya sinergi antara pemerintah pusat dan daerah dalam membangun generasi muda Indonesia. Ia menilai, pembangunan karakter dan potensi pemuda tidak bisa dilakukan secara terpisah.
Sementara itu, Gubernur Hidayat Arsani bersyukur atas penghargaan ini, menurutnya ini merupakan penghargaan untuk seluruh pemuda pemudi yang ada di Bangka Belitung.
“Alhamdulillah, tentu kita bersyukur dengan diraihnya Penghargaan Wirasena 2025 dari Kementerian Pemuda dan Olahraga RI atas capaian peningkatan Indeks Pembangunan Pemuda Tahun 2024 dengan peringkat ke-9 tertinggi nasional,” ucapnya.
Ia juga mengucapkan terima kasih kepada semua pihak yang terlibat, untuk memajukan kepemudaan di Bangka Belitung.
“Teruslah mencetak prestasi, berinovasi, bersinergi dan berkolaborasi, semoga ini menjadi motivasi untuk kita semua,” pungkasnya.
