PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS.COM – Sebuah mediasi yang seharusnya menjadi jembatan perdamaian justru berubah menjadi drama “main kucing-kucingan” antara pihak Rumah Sakit Bakti Timah (RSBT) Kota Pangkalpinang dengan para awak media. Kamis,(4/9)
Momen yang terjadi di Kantor Dinas Kesehatan Kota Pangkalpinang ini meninggalkan jejak tanya dan kesan “alergi” terhadap transparansi.
Awak media, yang telah menunggu berjam-jam di depan kantor Dinas Kesehatan, menjadi saksi bisu pertemuan antara pihak keluarga korban dan perwakilan RSBT, termasuk dari Pangkalpinang dan Jakarta.
Namun, ironisnya, saat mediasi usai, perwakilan RSBT menghilang bak ditelan bumi. Mereka memilih “kabur” melalui pintu belakang, meninggalkan para jurnalis yang menantikan pernyataan resmi.
Sikap ini menimbulkan pertanyaan besar di tengah dugaan kelalaian yang santer beredar terkait meninggalnya bayi berusia 11 bulan di rumah sakit tersebut.
Tindakan yang sangat disayangkan ini terkesan RSBT sengaja menghindari sorotan dan memilih bersembunyi di balik tembok ketertutupan, alih-alih memberikan klarifikasi.
Drama ini semakin rumit dengan adanya dugaan pernyataan dari pihak RSBT yang menyebut wartawan sebagai “tukang adu domba”. Tuduhan ini tidak hanya menyinggung profesi jurnalistik, tetapi juga semakin memperpanjang dan memperumit persoalan.
Sikap defensif dan tuduhan ini seolah menjadi dinding penghalang bagi upaya untuk mengungkap kebenaran di balik pelayanan dan dugaan kelalaian yang sudah menjadi bukan lagi rahasia umum di masyarakat.
Hingga berita ini diturunkan, belum ada pernyataan resmi dari pihak RSBT terkait insiden tersebut. Sikap “menghilang” ini membuat publik semakin bertanya-tanya. Apakah ada sesuatu yang disembunyikan?(Yuko)
