BANGKA,PERKARANEWS.COM – Pasangan Calon Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Bangka, Rato Rusdiyanto dan Rahmadian, selangkah lebih dekat menjadi peserta Pilkada setelah permohonan sengketa pemilihan mereka dikabulkan oleh Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kabupaten Bangka. Keputusan ini diambil dalam Musyawarah Terbuka Penyelesaian Sengketa Pemilihan yang digelar di Bawaslu Bangka. Sabtu,(2/8)
Sebelumnya, Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Bangka menyatakan pasangan ini Tidak Memenuhi Syarat (TMS) pada penetapan calon. Namun, dalam musyawarah tersebut, salah satu komisioner KPU Bangka, Corry Insan, memberikan klarifikasi penting terkait hal tersebut.
”Ini bukan hasil kesepakatan antara pemohon dan termohon, tetapi ini adalah hasil musyawarah terbuka penyelesaian sengketa pemilihan yang ditetapkan sebagai keputusan Bawaslu Bangka,” tegas Corry.
Corry juga menjelaskan bahwa poin-poin yang menjadi dasar permohonan Rato-Rahmadian sudah sesuai dengan Peraturan KPU (PKPU).
“Apa yang disampaikan pemohon itu sudah sesuai PKPU,” ujarnya, merujuk pada surat keterangan 13.14.
Dalam musyawarah tersebut, Ketua Majelis Hakim Musyawarah Terbuka di Bawaslu Bangka menekankan pentingnya pertimbangan yang mendalam.
“Pada prinsipnya adalah ini menjadi pertimbangan hati, untuk bisa mempertimbangkan suara. Tinggal kembali kepada Pak Juri yang cukup bisa mempertimbangkan soal itu,” ujar Ketua Majelis Hakim.
Dengan dikabulkannya permohonan ini, Bawaslu Bangka memberikan angin segar bagi pasangan Rato-Rahmadian untuk bisa menjadi bagian dari pesta demokrasi. Keputusan ini secara efektif membatalkan penetapan TMS yang sebelumnya dikeluarkan oleh KPU Bangka.(Yuko)
