PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Plt Asisten Perekonomian dan Pembangunan Kota Pangkalpinang, Juhaini menghadiri acara Rilis Berita Resmi Statistik (BRS) untuk periode Bulan April Tahun 2025 yang digelar oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Pangkalpinang, di ruang rapat Kantor BPS Kota Pangkalpinang, Jumat (2/5/2025).
Kehadiran Plt Asisten ini mewakili Penjabat (Pj) Walikota Pangkalpinang, sekaligus menegaskan pentingnya peran data statistik dalam perencanaan dan evaluasi pembangunan daerah.
Dalam paparannya, BPS Kota Pangkalpinang menyampaikan berbagai indikator strategis terkait kondisi ekonomi dan sosial di Kota Pangkalpinang. Salah satu sorotan utama adalah tingkat inflasi pada April 2025 yang tercatat mengalami kenaikan sebesar 0,85 persen secara month-to-month (m-to-m) dan 1,67 persen secara year-on-year (y-on-y).
Selain data inflasi, BPS juga memaparkan perkembangan sektor pariwisata dan dinamika pasar tenaga kerja sebagai bagian dari upaya memberikan gambaran menyeluruh tentang kondisi ekonomi kota.
Plt Asisten Perekonomian dan Pembangunan, Juhaini, dalam sambutannya menyampaikan apresiasi terhadap kegiatan tersebut.
“Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu bentuk kontribusi BPS dalam mencerdaskan bangsa melalui data. Data inflasi sangat penting untuk memantau fluktuasi harga, terutama menjelang momen besar seperti Idul Adha. Dengan data ini, kita bisa menjaga kestabilan harga dan memastikan kesejahteraan masyarakat,” ujarnya.
Ia juga berharap rilis inflasi ini dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal oleh pemerintah daerah dalam proses monitoring dan evaluasi pembangunan Kota Pangkalpinang.
Acara ini turut dihadiri oleh perwakilan dari berbagai instansi pemerintah daerah dan sejumlah awak media lokal, mencerminkan sinergi kuat antara BPS dan Pemerintah Kota dalam mendukung pembangunan berbasis data yang akurat dan terpercaya.(Yuko)
