PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS — Personel dari Direktorat Lalu Lintas Polda Bangka Belitung membagi-bagikan bunga dan coklat kepada pengendara yang berhenti di lampu merah Simpang Empat Air Itam Kota Pangkalpinang, Senin (17/2/2025).
Beberapa pengendara roda dua juga tak luput mendapatkan helm SNI baru dari Polwan Ditlantas Polda Bangka Belitung.
Pemberian coklat, bunga hingga helm SNI baru ini merupakan bagian dari kegiatan Operasi Keselamatan Menumbing 2025 yang sedang berlangsung diwilayah hukum Polda Babel.
Dir Lantas Polda Bangka Belitung Kombes Pol Hendra Gunawan mengatakan pihaknya sengaja menyiapkan sejumlah hadiah kepada masyarakat yang dijumpai tertib dalam berlalu lintas.
“Ini juga bentuk edukasi dan apresiasi kita kepada masyarakat pengendara yang telah tertib berlalu lintas. Apalagi saat ini kita sedang masa pelaksanaan Operasi Keselamatan Menumbing 2025,”kata Hendra saat ditemui.
Disela-sela memberikan hadiah, kata Hendra, personel dari Ditlantas bersama Satgas OKM 2025 juga turut memberikan himbauan lalu lintas.
Hal ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat akan pentingnya keselamatan bagi diri sendiri dan orang lain pada saat berkendara.
“Sesuai tujuan daripada operasi ini sendiri, untuk mengurangi jumlah laka maupun pelanggaran. Serta untuk meningkatkan disiplin masyarakat dalam berlalu linta guna mewujudkan kamseltibcarlantas yang aman nyaman dan selamat,”ungkapnya.
Sebagai informasi, Operasi Keselamatan Menumbing 2025 ini sendiri sudah memasuki hari kedelapan sejak dimulainya pada tanggal 10 Februari lalu.
Operasi ini dilaksanakan hingga 14 hari kedepan sampai dengan tanggal 23 Februari 2025 mendatang.(Yuko)
