BANGKA SELATA,PERKARANEWS-Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bangka Belitung (Polman Babel) menjadi tujuan kunjungan inspiratif dari SMK Negeri 1 Air Gegas, Rabu (18/12). Bertempat di Gedung Aula Polman Babel, acara ini dihadiri oleh 153 siswa kelas XI bersama 43 guru pendamping.
Dalam sambutannya, Somawardi, M.T., salah satu dosen Polman Babel yang menjadi narasumber utama, memaparkan keunggulan kampus tersebut. Polman Babel terus meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan vokasi dan siap bersaing di era global,” tegasnya.
Somawardi juga mengajak para siswa untuk menjadikan Polman Babel sebagai pilihan melanjutkan pendidikan setelah lulus SMK. “Kami berharap adik-adik di sini bisa bergabung dan mengembangkan potensi bersama kami,” ujarnya.
Keseruan acara semakin terasa ketika sesi tanya jawab berlangsung. Para siswa dengan penuh rasa ingin tahu mengajukan berbagai pertanyaan, mulai dari peluang beasiswa hingga prospek karier lulusan Polman Babel. Momen ini menjadi bukti semangat belajar mereka yang tinggi.
Setelah sesi diskusi, para siswa diajak berkeliling melihat langsung fasilitas kampus. Mereka mengunjungi Gedung Kuliah Bersama, Laboratorium Jurusan Elektronika, hingga Bengkel Mekanik. Para siswa tampak antusias menyaksikan aktivitas perkuliahan yang sedang berlangsung.
Kepala SMK Negeri 1 Air Gegas, Muhtar Ariadi, M.Pd., mengungkapkan bahwa kunjungan ini merupakan bagian dari program sekolah untuk memperkenalkan siswa pada perguruan tinggi.
“Kami ingin membuka wawasan siswa tentang pilihan pendidikan lanjutan yang berkualitas,” katanya.
Muhtar juga menyampaikan keyakinannya bahwa Polman Babel adalah tempat yang tepat untuk siswa yang ingin mendalami pendidikan vokasi.
“Dengan fasilitas dan tenaga pengajar yang kompeten, Polman Babel bisa menjadi pintu kesuksesan masa depan siswa kami,” tambahnya.
Kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan gambaran nyata tentang dunia perkuliahan, tetapi juga memotivasi siswa untuk merancang masa depan mereka. Beberapa siswa bahkan mengaku mulai tertarik untuk melanjutkan pendidikan di Polman Babel.
“Saya ingin para siswa SMK Negeri 1 Air Gegas berminat kuliah di Polman Babel setelah melihat langsung fasilitas dan mendengar penjelasan dari narasumber,” ucapnya.
