PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS — Road show penguatan Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka (IKM) yang diselenggarakan oleh Seksi Pendidikan Madrasah (Penmad) Kementerian Agama Kota Pangkalpinang dilanjutkan kembali setelah beberapa waktu yang lalu sempat terhenti dikarenakan adanya libur lebaran Idul Adha dan libur semester genap bagi para guru.
Kali ini pelaksanaan penguatan IKM tersebut dilaksanakan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Al Ihsan pada Jumat (2/8/2024). Pada kegiatan tersebut tampak hadir Kepala Seksi Pendidikan Madrasah Abdul Halim, S.H.I., M.H., pengawas Madrasah Hj. Rohani, M.Pd., serta pengawas PAI Kementerian Agama Kota Pangkalpinang, Dr. Kartika Sari, M.Pd.I.
Abdul Halim dalam sambutannya mengatakan kurikulum merdeka adalah kurikulum dengan pembelajaran intrakurikuler yang beragam di mana konten akan lebih optimal agar peserta didik memiliki cukup waktu untuk mendalami konsep dan menguatkan kompetensi. Guru memiliki keleluasaan untuk memiliki berbagai perangkat ajar sehingga pembelajar dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan belajar dan minat peserta didik.
“Kurikulum merupakan acuan bagi seorang guru dalam proses pembelajaran dan perubahan suatu kurikulum bertujuan untuk memberikan pelayanan terbaik kepada peserta didik sesuai perkembangan zamannya,” pesannya.
Dr. Kartika Sari selaku narasumber menyampaikan pelaksanaan IKM satu paket dengan Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM). Di mana PMM sendiri adalah alat bantu yang memudahkan guru dan kepala sekolah/madrasah untuk menentukan sasaran kinerja yang lebih kontekstual sesuai kebutuhan satuan pendidikan dan pengembangan karir guna peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik.
“Adanya kegiatan IKM ini guru diharapkan memahami terlebih dahulu hakikat kurikulum merdeka, mulai dari pengertian, tujuan, hingga sejarah kurikulum serta tidak menutup diri terhadap teknologi, dengan demikian guru benar-benar dapat menerapkan kurikulum sesuai tujuan yang diinginkan,” tuturnya.
Dia mengungkapkan merdeka itu bebas tapi dengan aturan. Menurutnya para guru memiliki kebebasan mengeksplorasi apa yang mereka miliki dan anak-anak miliki. Terakhir dia berharap madrasah bisa menerapkan IKM dengan baik dan setiap madrasah bisa menghasilkan anak-anak yang mempunyai potensi luar biasa yang berguna untuk kehidupan mereka sebagai pribadi dan masyarakat.(Yuko)
