2 Polwan Polda Babel Siap Berlaga Di Kejuaraan MBW International Taekwondo Championship 2024 di Malaysia

PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS — Polda Bangka Belitung kembali patut berbangga dengan para personelnya. Pasalnya, dua Polisi Wanita (Polwan) terbaiknya bakal mewakili Institusi Polri mengikuti Kejuaraan MBW International Taekwondo Championship 2024 Agustus mendatang.

Mereka ialah Bripda Sekar Embun Widianingrum personel Ditlantas Polda Babel dan Bripda Elly Annisa personel Dit Samapta Polda Babel.

Kepala Bidang Hubungan Masyarakat (Humas) Polda Bangka Belitung Kombes Pol Jojo Sutarjo mengatakan kedua Polwan tersebut saat ini sedang mempersiapkan diri untuk keberangkatan ke Jakarta pada 28 Juli mendatang.

“Nanti mereka bakal kumpul di Jakarta bersama atlet dari Polda lainnya. Mereka direncanakan akan melakukan latihan gabungan bersama Tim Taekwondo Garuda Bhayangkara Presisi Polri,” kata Jojo, Minggu (21/7/2024).

Menurut Jojo, keikutsertaan dua srikandi Polda Bangka Belitung di Kejuaraan International Taekwondo ini menjadi kebanggaan tersendiri.

Terlebih keduanya terpilih bersama 22 atlet Polri yang berasal dari beberapa Polda yang ada di Indonesia.

Oleh karenanya, Perwira Melati Tiga Polri ini berharap keduanya bisa memberikan hasil yang terbaik bagi Institusi Polri dikancah Internasional.

“Harapan dan doa kita, semoga para atlet Polri yang berlaga disana khususnya Polwan kita (Polda Babel) dapat tampil maksimal dan mengharumkan nama Institusi Polri,” harap Jojo.

Sementara itu, salah satu Polwan Polda Babel Bripda Embun mengaku sudah melakukan berbagai kesiapan jelang keberangkatan ke Malaysia.

“Insyaallah siap. Kemarin sudah TC di Babel, dan satu minggu kedepan juga latihan gabungan bersama rekan lain sebelum berangkat,” kata Embun saat dikonfirmasi.

Lebih lanjut, Polwan Ditlantas satu ini menerangkan dirinya bersama rekan Polwan Polda Babel Bripda Elly bakal turun dalam kategori Kyourugi Putri kelas U57 dan U67.

“Sebelumnya kami ucapkan terimakasih kepada pimpinan kami Pak Kapolri dan Kapolda Babel serta para Komandan lainnya yang telah memberikan dukungan dan kesempatan kepada kami untuk dapat ikut bertanding mewakili Polri di Kejuaraan Internasional ini,” kata Embun.

“Ini jadi semangat kami untuk dapat mengharumkan Institusi tercinta kami Polri ditingkat dunia,” pungkasnya.

Sebagai informasi, Tim Taekwondo Garbha Presisi Polri bakal berlaga di Kejuaraan MBW International Taekwondo Championship 2024 pada 2 sampai 4 Agustus mendatang.

Tim Taekwondo Garbha Presisi Polri bakal menerjunkan 22 Atlet terbaiknya. Selain itu, Kejuaraan yang digelar di Dewan Sri Sarjana Universiti Tenaga Nasional Selangor Malaysia ini bakal diikuti oleh sebanyak 19 Negara.(Yuko)
