Ciptakan Robot Pengangkat Sawit dan Pembersih Sampah, 6 Siswa MI Khoiru Ummah Pangkalpinang Masuk Babak Penyisihan Olimpiade Sains Nasional

PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS — Tiga tim atau sebanyak 6 siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Tahfizh Plus Khoiru Ummah (KU) Pangkalpinang, wakili Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung masuk babak penyisihan olimpiade sains nasional atau Kompetisi Sains Muslim Indonesia (KoSSMI) tahun 2024.

KoSSMI diselenggarakan oleh Abak Academy bekerjasama dengan Surya Institute For the Promotion of Science (SIPS), Fakultas FMIPA Universitas Indonesia (UI) dan AiCI (Atificial intelegence Center Indonesia).

Tahun 2024 dengan tema,”Indonesian Future Tech Inventor” dengan sub tema, “Teknologi Penunjang Kehidupan yang Cerdas”.

Pada babak penyisihan ini, 3 tim MI Khoiru Ummah Pangkalpinang akan berlaga dengan tim tingkat sekolah dasar lainnya dari seluruh Indonesia.

Berdasarkan pengumuman dari panitia KoSSMI, Selasa (26/3/2024), total peserta bidang robotik tingkat dasar yang masuk babak penyisihan sebanyak 50 tim. Satu tim terdiri dari dua orang.

Keenam siswa Sekolah Penghapal Quran Khoiru Ummah Pangkalpinang tergabung dalam tiga yaitu:

I. Muhammad Faqihuddin Nabil Alghazi dan Muhhammad Zaka Alfarez.
Karya: Robot Pembersih Sampah di Sungai.

II. Mochammad Azzam Alfaqih dan Naufal Ahza Mukhtarullah.
Karya: Robot Pengangkat Tandan Kelapa Sawit.

III. Muhammad Ghazavat Sulaiman Alqonuni dan Muhammad Bilal Yafizhan.
Karya: Robot Pengangkut Sampah.

Kepala Sekolah MI Tahfizh Plus Khoiru Ummah Pangkalpinang, Rokayah, Selasa (26/3/2024), mengatakan pada babak penyisihan setiap tim harus menghasilkan karya berupa robot yang dapat difungsikan dengan pengendalian atau mengoperasionalkan robotik tersebut lewat android.

Setiap tim harus membuat video mempresentasikan mulai dari pengenalan komponen, perakitan dan pengoperasionalan robotik hasil karya masing-masing.

“Alhamdulillah berkat kesunguhan dan ketelatenan para pembimbing siswa kita bisa menghasilkan tiga karya robotik. Mereka juga mampu menjelaskannya secara detail setiap komponen dan fungsinya dan mengoperasionalkannya,” jelas Rokayah.

Kemudian Rokayah mengatakan, lomba kali ini adalah yang kedua kalinya diikuti MI Tahfizh Plus Khoiru Ummah Pangkalpinang. Tahun 2023, 4 siswa yang tergabung dalam 2 tim berhasil lolos ke Final Tingkat Nasional di UI, Depok, Jabar.

“Kami berharap keenam siswa atau ketiga tim ini bisa lolos ke final tingkat nasional di Jakarta pada 26 Mei 2024 di Gedung Laboratorium Riset Multidisiplim FMIPA UI, Depok, Jawa Barat,” ujarnya.

Dijelaskan Rokkayah, MI Tahdizh Plus KU yang beralamat di Jalan Pahlawan 12, Kacang Pedang, Kecamatan Gerunggang, Pangkalpinang, para siswanya diajarkan menghapal Quran, Bahasa Arab, Adab, Akhlak, Bahasa Ingggris dan pelajaran umum lainnya. Juga menitik beratkan pelajaran tentang sains dan teknologi.

Para siswa yang ikut kompetisi ini paling tinggi adalah kelas empat dan ada yang sudah hapal Quran 3 Juz dan ada yang 2 juz.

“Hal ini penting untuk dikenalkan dan dibiassaakan sejak dini kepada para siswa. Jadi pembelajaran terhadap agama, ilmu pengetahuan sains dan teknologi kita ajarkan di sekolah,” ujarnya. (Yuko)
